Mickey's latest article. Take note to some interesting stats at the end.

Have at it!
Have at Spags or the article? Both are easy game.

Yes, we all know that Mickey is a homer; however, Mickey and that crew usually hear something on issues like a player likely to hold out.

Mickey would not laugh at the rumor if he thought there was anything chance that it was true.

Mickey would say anything and go back on it 10 seconds later.

Listen to podcasts. Their was that whole episode where he wanted to trade la'el then tried doubling back on it when everyone else took their mickshots over it. Think @stasheroo had the link.
I listen to all the shows. Again example.
Mick sticks to his guns. He gets the most info compared to the other guys on the podcast. They ask him

Last training camp he was not a big fan of Byron Jones at CB. He remembers Byron's rookie season when he was getting beat like a drum.

No. My post was just about this guy.

I dont read Spacknolas stuff at all anymore. I did not read this article also.

I don't either. If i see his name, i avoid it. It's like spam. Baseless, Homer propaganda. It's bad enough I have to suffer through hearing his drivel on whatever show he's bringing down, just so I can get moments of others talking and providing insight in between.

Same with me stash.

But i have to admit it seemed to me he changed a bit the last few times i listened to the break. He seemed more relaxed and not so overconvinced by his own opinion.

But then i am a guy who tries to take his time before i make up my mine about another person. I took around 3 years before i (in my mind) had a full view about Spagunola. And i have to admit: when i finally "put someone into a drawer" (like we say in germany) its hard for that person to climb out again ;-).

I haven't noticed that change in demeanor you're referring to. Instead, I remembered how he easily riled up Rob Phillips several times recently. And Phillips is one of the most laid back members of any of the shows and if he's getting noticeably upset, you know there's an issue. And that issue is always Spagnola and his pure homer views. He needs to be removed from the shows and stuck to doing interviews and sucking up to the players, that's all he's good at at this point. He's simply incapable of criticizing anything the Cowboys do, or listening to anyone else being critical. Quite immature behavior for a man his age.

"Dak Prescott is the first Cowboys quarterback to ever pass for 3,000 yards and at least 20 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons."

Then hes clearly better than Staubach and Aikman....lol...these writers take no consideration to how the game has changed.

Nobody is asking him to "trash his boss". Broaddus, Helman, Rob Phillips and Eatman can do their jobs effectively without having to be obnoxious, kool-aid drinking, sycophant homers they way that Spangola has to. That's the big difference.

And the real difference that some people ignore is that not only is he a kool-aid drinker, he's smug and arrogant about it often mocking fans who would have the audacity to question decisions made by the Cowboys.

So not only is he basically a paid fan boy of the team, he likes to basically remind people of how bad fans they are for questioning the Cowboys.

Can't recall ever seeing him do that.
links?

Just seems like someone who sees things shade in Cowboys favor.
Not dishonest, just homerish

Hey, maybe Mickey actually likes his Kool Aid? He's got at least one member here who would share it with him, while calling everyone else "haters" of course. :muttley:

Take it up with Mickey, I just quoted him.

For the record, Romo didn't take a snap his first season...or his second...or his third.
