Was there really that much hype, or that much on field play? I don't recall anyone talking about him last year as potentially playing a significant role with the team, and I don't think he has ever actually been targeted in a regular season game.

Great. Can we get rid of Noah Brown now please? Neither player can stay healthy and neither brings anything special to the table with some of the young guys at that position on our roster.

Did anyone else cringe when Jerry (maybe Stephen) made the comments about Noah Brown being an NFL player?

Not trying to hate on the guy but I just haven't seen anything from him that would make me hesitate to move on. If we don't give one of these promising young receivers a chance to grow because of his "blocking", I'll really be .... displeased. Note to self, prepare to be displeased.

With all due respect to him....jag is a compliment. We didn’t really get to see much of anything from him to even say that. He got further than most of us ever could. Good for him.

Brown is still younger than a lot of players still in college. He has the size and speed of a number one NFL receiver; it's just that his learning curve has been very steep. He was hurt a lot at Ohio State and only ran some very basic routes when he was healthy.

If the Cowboys are patient Brown could be a competent NFL player, like the Jones' said. The problem is the Cowboys have designs on a title run and they need guys that can contribute right now.

Bad idea. Dude is not just the WR6 but also the TE4 and FB1/FB2 and a core special teamer. Football player, not a star but a glue guy.

All off-season last year we heard of his dominance in camp. Sanjay Lal said he was a detailed route runner etc. Many on this board believed, including myself, because of the reviews, that he could sneak on the 53 with the crop of WRs we had last year.

And like you said, when he got in there you could hardly notice except for his awful ST play.
