What are you guys expecting out of Dak this year? I’m not talking about the number of TDs and yards, I’m talking just about his level of play?

I’m expecting Dak to make a huge jump in terms of his decision making skills (timing) and internal clock. I expect him to start carrying the team on a regular basis. I’m expecting him to run the ball several times per game and start hurting defenses and keeping them honest.

I think you are going to see the best version of Dak by far. If Zeke is out I can also see Dak getting killed by a missed blitz pickup by a RB.

around 4400-4500 passing. should be doable. and top 10 in passing TDs. should be doable.

That will always be up for debate in most people’s minds. But really.....who is to say definitively?

Unless he goes down the field like Brees and is clutch like Brady, wins playoff games every year.....he will probably be viewed as a 2nd tier guy.

I expect the same as his other years. Depending on who is still remaining after training camp, and surrounding him on offense I think he'll be a steady hand that distributes the ball and doesn't turn it over much. If our offensive line is poor I expect Mr. Prescott to be poor. It honestly has as much to do with the cast around him as it does him improving.

There were several reports from players and coaches that said Dak was different this offseason and he had really improved. The media showed up and reported that they saw the exact same player as they saw in training camps past. I fully expect more of the same and I expect the fans will gobble it up and sing his praises. If Zeke is out , Dak will really be bad. If Cooper is out, he won’t look too good either.

I don’t know that he will break 4,000 yards given that the team runs the ball a lot and eats up clock time which limits possessions.

Ultimately the goal of the sport is to move the ball downfield against the opponent and it doesn’t matter how you do it. People grade players on certain things like how pretty the pass is and total yards passing without adding the fact that you throw it more and take more chances when you are behind on the scoreboard or tied and do that less when you are ahead.

I expect Dak will do well in the categories of passing efficiency and have a low turnover rate and expect the cowboys as a team to be somewhere between 5-8 in avg points scored per game.

Elite? What does that mean?

So he is average at best and dependent on others rather than raising the play of his teammates. Not sure $35 million per year is a great idea.

Over 3800 last year with only 8 games of Coop. 4,000 is more than likely
