Did you just learn that definition in your community college's 'Intro to IT' class.

That's cute. Bet you'll ace the exam.

I would like to trade Zeke to the Eagles for a 7th. That'll show him.

I'd hold out for more money too if I were Zeke. If Amari Cooper stands to make $20+ million with 2 years more playing time but less yardage & 10+ less it's than Zeke, I'd be po'ed to make $7 million less than him a year. Dak will make 2X as much. DLaw (off the strength of 2 really good years) will make $7 million more a year. However, Zeke touches the ball 20-25 times a game. He's half of the offensive production, & takes a beating every game. I wouldn't settle for less either. The running back market is screwed for elite backs like Zeke. His pay should be more than Amari's & DLaw with regards to his importance to the team & offensive scheme. He deserves to get paid more than what they are offering him. Hey, I've been raised as a Cowboy fan since '74, so this isn't coming from a troll or bandwagon jumper. The NFL is a business. Zeke understands that. I can't be mad bc he wants what his value is & has been to this team. Everybody want to point to off the field issues. Well, that suspension was total bs & everyone with the slightest bit of common sense could see that. Zeke is the heart & soul of this team. Pay that man....

and bust the cap to the point you cannot keep solid players around him ... I think not. But we're of two different opinions.

At this point I'm just ready to roll with Tony Pollard.

If the Cowboys truly are offering Zeke more money than the Jets gave Le'Veon Bell and less than the Rams gave Todd Gurley, than I don't see the difference being so steep that one side simply can't cave.

At this point I think it's more about egos than cash. Both Elliott and the Jones' are too proud to come together on this; even though both sides want it to be over.
The Jones's only have so much they can spend under the salary cap. Highly unlikely that ego has anything to do w/ the team's side.

Zeke, stop being greedy...………….they offered to make you the number 2 highest paid back in the league...…...2 yrs early.

Take the deal, come back to the team, and all is forgiven.

It starts with an F. and ends with Off.

The longer Zeke keeps this going, the more I feel exactly the same way Columbiacowboy. Jerry treated Zeke extremely well and stood by him in every way he could despite all of Zeke's extra curricular stupidity, and if Zeke had waited for 1 more year to talk contract, Jerry would've treated Zeke very well, and he made a very fair offer anyway, despite Zeke's ME FIRST - TEAM LAST attitude.
But Noooooo, the Cabo Cowboy got a fat head.
Stop acting like the rear end of a donkey...…as in... Starts with a J and ends with....you know the rest.

Zeke you only have one life to live so take care of yourself and your family, the best you can.

Jerry gave him a chance to do just that, with a very generous offer.
Don't trade him Jerry, just sit him without pay till he decides to come down off of his high horse, then put him second string behind Pollard. :muttley:

The cap has more potential to get busted with amari cooper and dak deals. They will both be considerably above Zeke. Especially Dak. I really dont get some posters on this board and the logic.

Personally think the assumption that Pollard will ball out while Zeke holds out is premature. Since its a new season, it's also not safe to assume the first few games will be automatic wins. You dont know what any team is really about until the games are played. That goes for the competition as well. Basically, having all the help you can get is optimally where you want to be.
