Should Cowboys consider resting some stars vs Dolphins

If I were coach I'd play everybody and build up a good lead then rest them. Big Bill needs to send Garrett some mouse traps. But Miami is so bad this shouldn't even qualify as a trap game. We don't put up 40 plus on them. And beat them by 40 plus. Something is very wrong. Hopefully Dak can go out and throw 5 td's. Rest him and Rush throw 3 more.

I don't disagree that Miami has problems but it is critical to jump on them early and often and take the fight out of them. One thing about bad teams is the longer you let them hang around the more they start believing that they just may have a chance. Irvin touched on this, this past sunday about going into a game as a big favorite and next thing you know you are sitting in the locker room asking yourself what the hell just happened. He is right, Us fans can sit back and take this game lightly, Cowboys need to focus on taking care of business and putting Miami away.

Can we stop it with all this talk? We will win this weekend, but I don't expect a blowout. How much we win by in not in indicator of how good or bad we are. Just execute and play our game. Nothing special. Win and move on to the next week.

That would be a big mistake this early in the season. Nothing is wrong would beating down the opponent early then resting a quarter, but to become arrogant and disrespectful with that thinking will get you beat.....contrary to what we've seen from the Fins.....that ain't right.

NO!!! Why should the Cowboys change anything that might change their mojo they got going. They should look at this as a highly paid practice and more time to get things down pat under game time conditions. To continue to boost moral and confidence.

Cover the spread, then rest the injured. If that places Dak in harm's way, then no way.

Why break the momentum? It may ‘just be the Dolphins’ but that’s no reason to rest the starters. I’m all for substitutes if we have a comfortable lead, but resting - no.
