If he wasn't flagged for roughing the passer , Lawrence would have never been mentioned...............Giving him that ridiculous contract instead of fortifying the interior of the D-line is going to be our downfall against the good teams....................................

Why everyone here thought Maliek was going to break out, again, and be the 2nd coming of Sapp. He did run down bridgewater for a sack and disrupted many plays to his side in the run game.

Even though I had two drunken cussing Saints fans in my ear for four quarters in section 513 (except the two times they left to take a piss), I watched the defense hold the Saints, IN THEIR HOUSE, to four field goals.

12 points.

Not sure why the defense is getting overly criticized. They performed well-enough for the team to have won the game. Kamara, in particular, was largely held in check. So was Thomas.

The defense has room for improvement, especially in the defensive line interior, but the unit got their job done. The team still lost. It is simple determining which unit brought their D-game to New Orleans.

How was it the seahags threw for over 200 passing yds against this same D? yet the brain children of JJ couldn't scheme a 10 year old open. Lack luster, heartless play. Our D was ok, but "OK" aint winning the big dance here guys. Face it, what I saw last night was a Garrett coached game plan, it was as if HE took the helm and told our golden child to take a back seat. More of the same old tired ***ed conservative BS. And I'm warning ya'll, philly went into just as hostile an environment in GB, and WON. Coming from behind to do it. Dallas, showed again last night they aren't willing to adjust, and play outside their own stupidity. Add to it, Philly went on the road on a short week to win. Face it, we are what the talking heads claimed we are, we showed really no improvement, we simply beat up on 3 bad teams. Once we got to play a contender, we foled like the cheap suits we truly are. Just be ready for more disappointment....

The Saints had like 60 yards running up the middle.

WHAT GAMES ARE PEOPLE WATCHING?

As most have observed this looked a lot like last years RAM game. But I see some effects that are related to what transpired from training camp.
1. The injuries and surgeries that kept players from practicing though training camp is showing up on the OL and DL.
2. Those reps that Zeke missed during training camp are showing up in his running game. He just runs into the piles without looking for other routes.
3. Back to last years RAM game, the book was written by the Rams to run up the middle of our DL as we have NO real run stopping DTs.

PS
The coaching had no answer for stopping the Saints Defense. Even with the points mentioned above, we still could have won with some coaching changes. Well I hope they learned something from the coach who out coached them Sunday night.:(

Nah. Recievers couldn't get separation without pushing off. Witten and Jarwin were the leading receivers.
2 turnovers on fumbles before the half.
Long time consuming drives. N.O. won the time of possession game, 36-24. The drive after the TD was excruciating to watch. All the 2nd half drives were painful. Defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down.
OLINE was crap. Play calling was crap.

Move on. It's one loss. Knew they weren't going to win them all. Packers, Jets, Eagles before the bye. Get 2 out of 3 before the break and get ready for the gauntlet run the last 9.

10 points is an F game. The offense deserved an F and a loss and they got both

Wilson threw for over 400 on this group one week ago. Amazing isn't it.

Two reasons honestly - Jason Witten fumble and Zeke Elliot fumble. Both times it surrendered a first and ten around midfield and the last one resulted in a Saints field goal.

Hold onto the football and Dallas wins.

They reason they lost is they got EXPOSED! Everyone talked about how good they where, but yet they've only played crappy teams thus far.

EXPOSED I tell you!

ROFL, one a washed up TE who came crawling back to "help" his team...the other a 100 million hold out, who couldn't get 20 yards all night... great stuff cowboy fans, we got this all figured out. IMO the one thing that should have been gone years back, is still standing on the side lines with that deer in the head lights look clapping , clapping, clapping.....

The good news is that a lot of the problems in this game can be fixed - Zeke doesn't fumble often considering the number of carries he gets, one back last year had 3 fumbles in 172 attempts, about the same percentage as Zeke, 6 in 304 carries. He has to run inside a lot, and gets gang tackled a lot, but he can concern himself with ball security more, remember his rookie year he had a few fumbles early but he fixed that, he can do it again. Witten seldom fumbles, 9 in 243 career games, so his was an aberration. Woods should be back in a game or two, he provides more run stopping ability, that will help. Gallup will be back in a couple of games, probably, that will free up Cooper.

Bad news is that other teams will see what the Saints did and tailor their defense accordingly, not sure the Cowboys' coaches can counter that...
