Dak's first year was an anomaly. Then in the second year they protected him in preseason as if he was the franchise.
He hasn't been forced to play behind an offensive line that struggled.
Now you see the real Dak.

It's not all Dak's fault. Garrett was so desperate to succeed he didn't recognize that it was only because of the wall that was the Cowboys offensive line that Dak had success.
Kellen Moore is a better quarterback than Dak. He played behind lesser offensive lines and produced.
Dak is a rookie when it comes to playing under pressure because Garrett wouldn't make him play in the preseason unless the full offensive line was intact.
That line is gone, now. And except for a defender dropping one pass and a penalty that wasn't, Dak threw 5 interceptions today.

They would be fools to give this kid money at LEAST until after this season is over. 3 points after 40 minutes of football and with all your receivers on deck...plus Witten and Elliot? There is simply too much talent surrounding this kid for the excuses to continue.

I've never been on the bandwagon. I've been a Cowboys fan since the 70's
But Jason Garrett has destroyed the franchise, and if they sign Dak to a long term contract it will seal their fate for the next few years.

Prescott threw for 0 yards on third down against Green Bay...according to reporting. I think I need to check this but that stat line is quite damning.

a little help for you.
The first thing to figure out when deciding between who’s vs. whose is whether you need one word (whose) or two (who’s). Substitute the words who is, (and then who has) into your sentence. If either substitution works: who’s is your word.

Because you said he wouldn't even be in the NFL if he hadn't started in Dallas. If you've seen guys like Luke Falk you'd realize the absurdity of that remark.

It's one thing to say Dak's not an elite QB, it's quite another to say he wouldn't even be a back up on another team.
