Do we beat the Eagles or collapse?

There is no question the Eagles game is a defining game in the season. You either bounce back strong and right the ship or we sink completely.

I personally have zero faith in the coaching staff and honestly I believe we will lose. I pray that I'm wrong. But if we lose maybe Jerry might pull the trigger on his pet cat.

It’s a collapse. Now if we were healthy, I’d feel more optimistic.

However, no tackles (their d line is elite), no Cooper (who else gets deep? They blanket Gallup)

It’s not good

No Cobb, either. Double Gallup, stack against Zeke and laugh as Dak scrambles into sacks all day.

Cowboys will keep dangling the carrot out in front of their fans and keep us hoping.

There is too much talent with this team for them to just completely tank even if they wanted to.

Injuries may help them fall apart though so we'll see.

I've just seen so much Cowboys football that I fully expect Garrett to get this team in the playoffs and just get smacked around by a superior coaching staff in the post season with his predictable game plans.

He'll have enough excuses to get his extension from the Jones's.

They have made it very clear this week that the business side of football is priority #1 for the players and management and football is just not a big deal right now to them.

if you havent seen the collapse and still think Garrett can turn it around, youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu MIGHT be a Garrett defender.

I have zero idea.

I suspect, if the last few games are any indication, Garrett will once again have a conservative game plan. So we'll plow Zeke multiple times (especially on first down) into one of the best run defenses in the league (statistically) and set up a lot of 2nd and 3rd and longs for Dak with two backup OTs. Not exactly a recipe for success, however................. the Eagles secondary is brutal. I mean really brutal. Even without Cooper, Gallup, Cobb (hopefully), Witten, Jarwin should have some success.

On the flipside, the defense will play their passive, no pass rush, deep zones, don't get beat, lame defense that will generate no turnovers and should be easy pickings for a guy like Wentz who seems to be able to buy time and find holes in soft zones. But the flipside is.......... even if Jackson plays, he's likely hurt, and does any other WR scare you? But then again, while the Eagles run game with Howard and Sanders isn't lighting the world on fire, our run defense ain't exactly holding up either.

Two mediocre teams on a collision course in Dallas. Who the hell knows what will happen. So many flaws on both teams.

The fact that people have faith in this team after 3 straight losses, including one against the 0-4 Jets, Jason Garrett losing this team, the team giving up on themselves and playing uninspired football, and adding in the fact that we're missing 4 of our elite starters shows how naive this fanbase truly is.

We've already collapsed. We're just going to see how bad the collateral damage and aftermath is. A blowout is coming from the Kelly Green North....

Collapse. Too many injuries. Not that injuries are an excuse as the Cowboys have faced a couple injured opponents and failed to take advantage.

I not saying I believe in Garret or not. But this the type of game he seems to thrive in, so here’s hoping.
Not a game we’re mathematically eliminate, but close to a must win.

If we manage to play for more than the 3rd and 4th quarter - Dallas will win. If we turn in one half of football again - for whatever reason - it's over.

I don't think we're at that point yet. We could lose to the Eagles, falling to 3-4 and still be viable for a few weeks.

We come back after the bye with Giants and then might be able to get by the Vikings and Lions (although those are toss-ups at best). If that happens, we're 6-4 going into games against the Patriots, Bills and Bears.

At this point, I think we're still an 8-8 team and might not be eliminated from the playoff race until our December game against the Eagles.

Doesn't have to be only those two options. The way Philly is playing, even if they win they aren't going to keep the Division lead out of reach for very long.
