Hit on the draft and keep churning the roster and not allow players to hose you in their contract year like dlaw just did........that sets your team back.

That trade was wacky. Two 1st round picks for Ramsey and he'll want a mega-contract after the season. He'll probably hold out for a QB contract.

It was an All-In move by the Rams.

Yep I was pretty relieved the eagles didn’t get him, I knew they were trying.
I don’t like Ramsey but he’s one of the best DBs in the game right now

short term, yes...but for that price? It would’ve hurt them long term and I’m guessing they agree.

They gave up a lot to get Wentz and that didn't seem to slow them down.

In the last 10 years the Eagles drafted Brandon Graham DE, Danny Watkins OG, Fletcher Cox DT, Lane Johnson OT, Marcus Smith LB, Nelson Agholor WR, Carson Wentz QB, Derek Barnett DE, and Andre Dillard. Thee are a couple of busts in that list but the rest of the list includes some really good players.

We need a DT. Some fans been saying this for years. 2 1sts and 4th? Crazy. That’s 14 years of rookie salaries passed up. I’d probably make that move for Donald right now, but certainly not a CB.

I never think it's a bad idea passing up on trading two firsts and a fourth for a DB. That's more than if you poached someone off the franchise tag. You see how often that happens, right? But hey, if it puts you over the top and gets you a SB, then ok. But it's risky. Rams might not even make the playoffs.

They apparently offered 2 number one picks but were turned down because the jags figured they'd be low in the draft because the Eagles were supposed to be a Super Bowl contender. That was the excuse. The Rams traded an extra 4th round pick but they are just as good if not better than the Eagles ATM.

Birds offered a 1st and 2nd but the Rams offer was better.

IMO Ramsey does not fit Philly's scheme and would have created issues on how they play defense.

There was a thread about it a few weeks ago. Rumor was ertz was part of the attempt
