LOL, folks, this is what 12th hour posturing looks like.

It may or may not happen, but read nothing into these dumb tweets. Neither side is telling the truth right now.

What's funny about this whole thing?

They clearly know they need to upgrade Heath, hence why they were negotiating with the Jets. And yet, knowing the possibility existed it would be pricey to land him, you would think a competent front office might have a backup plan. There were probably other SS possibilities that at the very least could have put some pressure on Heath.

But they don't. It was Adams or bust. Despite them basically acknowledging they could use an upgrade there.

I keep asking myself if this trade would make us a SB Champion. I don’t think so. I’m not even convinced our defensive scheme would make him worth a kings ransom.

its actually really simple.

They talked, the jets gave out their asking price...the cowboys made an offer...a very good one at that.

It's on the jets to come down in price.
