So #1 position of need going into the offseason? S? DT? TE? CB? We have a chance to kill one of those needs now.

1st and a 2021 3rd with some late fliers.

2021 3rd we should regain if they let Jones walk. Someone will give him a lot of money and the Jones pinch pennies in March.

Throw in Redmond if needed since they just cut their guard too.

What's funny about this whole thing?

They clearly know they need to upgrade Heath, hence why they were negotiating with the Jets. And yet, knowing the possibility existed it would be pricey to land him, you would think a competent front office might have a backup plan. There were probably other SS possibilities that at the very least could have put some pressure on Heath.

But they don't. It was Adams or bust. Despite them basically acknowledging they could use an upgrade there.
It’s been that way for years regarding S position. It’s crazy.

Everyone thinks the jets hold all the leverage. I’m over here in NJ and they’ve been talkin on the radio how the team is a disaster. Problems in the locker room ect. Plus Adams isn’t happy either. Good luck trying to get as good of value next year for him. Good luck with that Locker room situation.

a first and a 3rd (is even go as high as a 2nd).

but two firsts? This isn’t Ed reed in his prime.
