how many weeks have we been complaining about the officiating. Its gotten so bad commentators have called them out on air. The nfl does nothing because they know people will watch. Its actually pretty disgusting..... they just gloss over these things because they know people will forget them in a week or so.

120k and they aren’t even full time
Officials? And they aren’t doing that good or a job?
That’s a problem.

61 mil is a drop in the bucket for the NFL too. Btw. That’s less than 2 mil per team. But could significantly improve the quality of their product.

Even if it’s not adding more officials on the field. I definitely don’t see why they shouldn’t have a team of refs in the office watching all the games in real time and utilizing instant replay to make sure ALL calls are correct. Including BS penalties.
Yeah I was gonna say.....61 million is NOTHING. They make billions off this product.

Not only do they need to add more officials but they also need to look into paying them based on skill. Have some form of incentive to do their job well.

If players can be fined for messing up on a play and breaking the rules. I don’t see why refs can’t be docked pay for bad calls.

Oh the crying in this thread - and this is just some of it. 20 years of frustration is turning the Cowboys fan base into a bunch of babies.

It's rigged!
They're out to get us!
The fix is in!

I know none of you were saying this stuff in the 90s. Why? Because it didn't matter what the refs did. The Cowboys were able to overcome adversity.

The 21st century Cowboys are a soft bunch. As soon as the littlest thing goes wrong they fall apart. Worse, the fans who constantly complain about "coaching" immediately run to the refs, conspiracies, and other forms of crying when the opportunity presents itself.

The sad part is I'm talking about grown men, not kids who didn't get what they wanted for Xmas.

This team is soft, and apparently so is our fan base. Stop crying. Deep down you know the refs aren't the real problem in Dallas.

If you choose to ignore the possibility the refs fixing a game is a very real possibility than congrats and move on. I frankly think it’s highly unlikely the refs weren’t either at the very least incredible incompetent or more likely complicit in making sure this game wasn’t won by Dallas. Two tripping calls on the same team hasn’t happened in years, in both cases they were clearly wrong and thrown after the Cowboys made the first down. In a game between two very close teams, two massive calls can make the difference.
Are the Cowboys soft? Yes maybe. Are they poorly coached, probably so....but it’s hard to beat the Pats, the elements and the refs in Foxboro no matter who you are.

I recommend you take a read and perhaps it will open your eyes to the possibility the refs are not as angelic as you may think:

Many disagree.

If you’re right it’s actually worse.[/QUOT
Wondering why you think that. Is it because he disagrees with you? Because he doesn't like Zeke? He doesn't need me to defend him but I have had conversations with him and he is a standup guy in my opinion and a Cowboy fan through and through. I'm not trying to start a fight because I respect most of the people on this board. Just not the Eagle fans, lol!

Garret should have challenged that last one. Game was near over and we were moving the ball. He had nothing to lose at that point.
I don’t think you can review a judgement call which is completely ridiculous. Should be able to review everything.
