I said the other day this game would be like the 17 game against the chargers. I didn't realize that meant exactly the same and the players would be calling out Dak after the game.

Geez.

lol I remember that. All “disrespected” because he said it would be a challenge but they weren’t the best defense they’d faced.

“we dogs over here”

“we built different “.

lames.

Cocky and confident have a fine line between them, and I think he simply can't back it up. Mayfield is just an a-hole.
I agree Zeke is cocky. Not confident enough to step up for himself and his team when they're Getting thrashed and mocked on live television, but cocky.

Dak is a robot. He shows no emotion IMO. How is he cocky?

Like the rest of the team, they think they have arrived when they have done nothing. He's going to get his money and the future looks bright, but in my mind they have done diddly.

I think Dak needs to start putting guys in their place. Aikman used to do it.

Its all part of the entitled, country club atmosphere here in Dallas.

I guess I can see where you are coming from. What do you suppose we do though? Trade up to get a new QB and cut Dak? I’m not completely against the idea, but I just want to see your view of how things should go down

The coach we bring in can decide - however, this is shaping up to be a pretty good QB draft class. You can tag Dak and see how he plays under a new coach, or let him walk and draft a QB. I think either direction will lead us to moving on to another QB though.

LOL are you suggesting the vast majority of good QBs in the league are below average against good teams? Really?

And you using QBR for ranking and me pointing out Dak is below average against good teams is me giving context. YOU left out the context.
I’m not suggesting anything.

If the “49 vs winning teams” ranking is actually as poor as you’re suggesting, why won’t you provide where that ranks compared to all other QBs?

Aren’t you at least curious to see where that ranks? If it’s garbage compared to other QBs like you’re suggesting, then that ranking will help your case tremendously.

I think you’re full of it.

Every QB performs better vs bad teams than vs good teams.

“49 vs winning teams” is probably not bad at all compared to how other QBs have performed vs winning teams.

That’s why you’d rather stay ignorant on that ranking than to find the smoking gun that you’re trying to convince us exists.

Also, you still never answered my question of where you’d rank Dak overall.

I know why.

You WANT to rank him much lower than top 10-12..... but you know that the FACTS don’t back up that garbage AT ALL.

You have NOTHING and you know it.

Said it in another thread but maybe it's worth repeating.

The Bills traveled, on a short week, embarrassed us on Thanksgiving, punked us on the sidelines, and made our owner cry.

It is truly over.

A decade of amateurish incompetence and frustration for all involved, unreal.

....this isn't some bottom tier team nor is this game going to be bigger than the playoff game they'll be in.
When they get bumped out of the playoffs, next year they'll cling onto their Dallas win more than anything else. Meanwhile, We'll hopefully have a new coach.

I agree, but he’s too much of a wuss to do it. He wants that golden boy image. He can do and say no wrong. He’s a people pleaser. Doing what Aikman did will piss some people off on that sideline and Dak doesn’t want that smoke. He’ll never be like that. Sad but true. I think he’s capable of being a leader, but like his QB skills, it seems like he’ll never be capable of going over that hump that makes him good to elite. A man with leadership qualities to a true leader. It’s like he’s incapable of making those jumps. I’m not sure if it’s a mental thing with him or an environment thing but I guess we’ll see.

What are the Bills rambling about? There are kids that grew up and are past drinking age that never saw the Bills win a division. They'll be doing the same thing Cowboys fans will be doing, watching the Super Bowl from the stands or on TV.
True but then again the Bills have potential...

They do not have the leagues highest paid RB
They do not have one of the leagues highest paid DE
Not do they have one of the highest paid LB’s

And they don’t have a QB who believes he should be the highest paid

Get the point?

What they have is they play with heart and intensity...
They do what it takes to win and don’t think for a minute that Billy B didn’t take note...
Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they beat the Pats, last night you saw a coming out of sorts for the Bills on the national stage and good for them calling out our “stars”
All they heard all week was how the cowboys were going to beat them easy after a humiliating defeat in Foxboro.

Bills are riding high right now and their players and fans are being extra loud. That’s all that needs to be taken from this

Again, you are setting a different standard for me than for yourself.

I had to give you some context to the QBR you provided. You did not provide anything other than that. And nobody has suggested a quarterback rating is lower against good teams than when facing bad teams - it's the disparity - Dak looks "top 10" against bad teams, but he is BELOW AVERAGE against good teams.

So we have a couple things here: If you think it's the norm that every QB has a below average (key word is average) against good teams, then you need to admit that QBR is fundamentally broken or that Dak is simply a bad QB when facing anyone worthy.

Which is it?

I think they'll be clinging to the fact that their defense has played incredibly well this year and their QB improved from season 1 to season 2 in nearly every category.

yah...…....now you go too far for me. Dak is everything you want in a QB in his demeanor and leadership. But he needs to continue to progress in that area as well.

Right now, he seems very happy to prove that he can be the best version of himself and play great. Get his money and prove he is one of the best in the league.

At some point, that will get old and all that will matter is winning SB's or winning one. At that point, he will start turning his attention to those things that are holding back the team from accomplishing that.

Like an idiot HC or OC or players slacking or not doing their job.

Once Garrett leaves, more people will see the elephant in the room. Its Jerry Jones, but also our players. Dak has had moments of greatness, but flashes should not be the standard we aim for. I want superbowls.

Super Bowl winning coach Jimmy Johnson says Dak will get a record-breaking contract--and deserve it. Super Bowl winning QB Troy Aikman says the same.

Some of you just can't buy a clue.

Dak is NOT the problem here at all.
