The Eagles are capable of winning tonight. But, they not playing well enough for anyone to be overly confident that they can just beat the Giants easily. I think that the Eagles are living off of how the amount of hype that their roster got in the off season and their 2017 Superbowl win, so people are waiting for them to play up to that level.

But, currently until proven otherwise the Cowboys and Eagles really aren't playing that much better than the bottom tier NFL teams are right now. Everyone assumed the Eagles would run the table against the rest of their schedule and they already lost to the Dolphins. Giants play the Eagles tough sometimes and have nothing to lose tonight, so they might be set on trying to ruin their division rivals playoff chances. We'll see how it goes tonight.

It honestly doesnt mean a whole lot. If they win we'd take the lead on division record tiebreaker but we'd still have to beat them. Unless of course they lose to Washington as well

Good. We need to lose this division. What good comes out of winning the division at this point? Getting smashed in the WC round (aka keeping Garrett for an extra week, moving down in the draft, and being embarrassed on live television again)? No thanks. Let Philly be embarrassed and mess up their draft stock.

Unless he's playing for the hope of another team picking him up next year, as a starter, l don't see him doing much tonight. He's got to seriously be considering retirement...

And yet I wait every year for this same law of averages to put the Cowboys in the NFC championship game.
Sometimes certain teams suck so bad like the Cowboys, Skins and Lions that the law of averages doesn’t even apply.

I don't think we can compare them to the Cowboys. The Cowboys have given up on their coaching staff. It goes back to when Travis Frederick screamed about the play calling in the Vikings game. I don't think the Eagles are in they same position. I think they blowout the Giants, who have a terrible defense. I think Eli will do okay but their OL will struggle against the Eagles front.

Kind of like us, I’m not sure they have the personnel to flip the switch. What they have is an over rated roster.

Barkley hasn’t been anywhere close to the same since his injury. I believe he said he’s still nowhere close to 100% but there’s no way he’ll let them bench him for the rest of the season. I think he’s pretty much been a non factor in every game since he got hurt.

There ya go. Spoken like a true fan. Any you wonder why you get busted up on this forum. I would like to know what "bad" comes out of winning the division. So we get smashed in the wild card round. It means that another nfc team didn't make it....aka, the eagles, washington or the giants.
