Jarwin has been in on 37 % of the plays this year. Witten 77%. Those numbers should be flipped. That's the definition of holding someone back. If Witten was still retired what would Jarwin's numbers look like.

He did nothing last year without him. Who held him back then? The air?

Would this team have a better record if the numbers were flipped? I don’t think so. Not saying Witten should be starting but the problems this team has run much deeper than TE.

I think two things are equally true: 1) This team does have much deeper problems than TE, and 2) getting Jarwin more involved likely would have helped the offense overcome some of the defensive issues by putting more points on the board.

Witten is nothing more than a glorified outlet at this point.

As much as I love the Hall of Famer Jason Witten he's holding the offense back. He can't run for **** and can't stretch the defense as Jarwin can. Jarwin is much more of an offensive threat and he can create problems for the defense. More Jarwin, less Witten and you'll see a lot more points for the Cowboys.
Y-Option. Can’t stop it. Super Bowl. Rest of NFL doesn’t know it yet, but Cowboys do. Trust the process.......

Granted Witten hasnt played "great" and we only have an upside with Jarwin this however is on the very bottom of concerns the cowboys have. You guys must be Fn nuts to think otherwise

Why blame Witten? I blame the culture of the team. How is it that other teams don't have a problem incorporating younger players into their offensive scheme instead of this seniority based garbage?
No other team has a senile, psychopathic owner with a god complex running the show.

Yep, the one who isn't in the sidelines, isn't in the field, doesn't communicate during the game with the coaching staff and just gives post games interviews.
But absolutely wants Witten on the field. It is all Moore and Garrett need to know.

I think more Jarwin will save the season and result in a Super Bowl win...

I totally disagree Jarwin can do a lot more than Witten in the passing game!

When you have 2 constants on the field in skilled positions that are duds who cant score unless the defender falls down then how are ya supposed to score and win games. Jerry appointed #82 to be the starter but #82 goes 9 games without scoring and Jerry is in set it and forget it mode and wont cut back on this dual te passing offense that has 1 career playoff reception for a td in 16 years.

Our dual te passing scheme is trash and has been for years. Its hard to win when there is 1 weak constant much less 2 at the skilled positions.
