In order to win it all, Jerry needs to

get out of his comfort zone. he hires coaches that get along with him and bow down to him. He hires coaches that let him hire their assistants for them. That hasn't worked for us and I don't think it ever will. if he really wants another ring, he has to be willing to be uncomfortable. Let a coach do it his way and see what happens.

Yes sir. He needs to hire a coach he trusts and let him do his job.
the trust part is on jerry. if you trust them enough to hire them as hC, trust them enough to step back and let them coach and hire who they want. For once this century see how the team plays when they know the coach decides if they're on the team or not.

He felt he could mold Garrett into something he wasnt. He thought hed grow to be a great coach. Instead he was a neutered coward who only got worse. It was clear he didn't trust Garrett early on. Which is why I hope his next hire blows his doors off and Jerry steps the hell back.

Needs to hire a GM to make all the dirty decisions he doesn't like making
but thats one thing in life jerry will never do. the best we can hope for is a coach who s allowed to truly coach his way and hire the coaches they want.
I believe part of the reason Belicheat wins is because everyone on the team knows if he doesnt want you there, you won't be there. that forces players to listen to you. That's missing from our team.

If all Jerry cared about was winning Jimmy would still be here.

(Well probably not, but you know what I mean)
jimmy would've been here at least until 2000 and Parcells would've still be here in 07. the last straw was signing TO when Bill didnt want him.

Okay but you never name anybody? How about some names?
the name doesnt matter and won't matter until...... Hes willing to let them coach. Its equal to signing randy moss and deciding as the coach, you want him to run slants and bubble screens every play.

I am a layman at best. I dont follow college closely so I can only look at the big names and hope. As far as NFL Im right there dreaming with you. Id rather have Rivera than Garrett as well as the other big names.

Sometimes a change in leadership is needed. Players stop getting the message. I think this is one of those times. The Eagles did it with Reid and the Giants with Coughlin. They were both a lot more accomplished than Garret.

This is one of those times where I think change must happen, even at the risk of falling back. I believe we've seen Garrett's ceiling.

Of course it matters. You think you have some good candidates or think you have a good idea of what would be good for the team, well let’s hear some names. “Until he’s willing to let them coach” what does that even mean?

Exactly, and that's why I feel hopeless about the Cowboys right now. Jerry won't change. Jerry won't give up the title of being the face of the franchise. You know what I'm sick hearing. I'm sick if hearing "Jerry is a great owner but a bad GM". Nope, Jerry Jones is a horrible owner. He won't do what it takes to win which means he's not competitive enough to let a coach outshine him. So that makes Jerry Jones a bad owner. He's no different than all the other loser owners in the league that hasn't won a super bowl. The only difference between Jerry and Snyder or other loser owners is Jerry lucked into Jimmy Johnson and had the Hershel Walker trade. Without Jimmy or Hershel this team is average or below average since the 70's.

Jerry Jones is one of the worst professional franchise owners alive. It's all about money for him and not winning football games. He's everything the Dallas Cowboys are. Average team due to an average owner that believes he belongs with the big players in the league. The Cowboys team can't play with the big boys of the league. Jerry thinks he's a big boy owner.

Jerry take a look around, Green Bay has been competitive since the 90's, 49ers are relevant again, Patriots speak for themselves, Steelers are always up there, etc.

Jerry you're a loser owner and you're always going to be a want-to-be to the big boy owners. And we fans will suffer due to Jerry's insecurity and narcissism. Okay rant over. But I really hate Jerry Jones at this point.

Okay good I could respect that reasoning. Time for a change. Good I can agree on that if the right guy is out there I’m all for it.

The steelers are the most consist team of the last 15 years after the cheating patriots and guess what, most people don't even know what their owner looks like.
