Bump JG up to the executive offices, hire Ed Orgeron the second LSU slams Clemson into the ground! He is the next Jimmy Johnson. He even worked under Jimmy, Peyton and Carroll. What could possibly go wrong?

Outside of the Jones family, anyway. That video of him interrupting his press conference each time to shut the players up in the background is classic. He did it twice, and even said Thank You each time.

If Jimmy recommended him to LSU, and Jimmy is a DOG spelled backward in my book, then I believe he could make it in the NFL!

*It's the Don't Mess With Ed Video*. I'd put it on here, but I'm an old lady.

I just came across this information, and I quote:
"Some dude looking an awful lot like Jason Garrett has been seen talking to Jerry Jones at HQ this morning." He was wearing glasses, a wig and goes by the name Jed.

Just passing on info...

It is finally time bro, it is finally time..

@Chocolate Lab where is the party at!!?!?!

Let’s hope this is true ... Where is the party?

My brother, we both have been waiting for this day since 2007. I remember the two of us arguing the Garrett hire from people who thought he would be the next Bill Walsh or Tom Landry. We both knew he was a bad hire from day one.

Please let this be

Jane S just reported on NFL Live (today) that Jerry hasn't decided yet and no one in the organization knows as only jerry will make that decision, he is having a hard time dumping his pet HC means he has failed again. Hope you are correct but until it happens all bets are off.

Is there any examples of guys that have gone through this process, got turned down, and eventually got a job because of this?

I’m sure there are but I don’t follow these things that close. I highly doubt every single black coach in the NFL got the first job they interviewed for and there are likely many that have college jobs now that were helped by being interviewed for a NFL job. One of the big criticisms out there before the rule was established is that black coaches couldn’t even get an interview which left them unprepared for the process. It was also widely known that being interviewed raised your coaching profile and black coaches were being bypassed without interview opportunities. It’s kind of like running for President now. Why do people with no shot stay in the primary race? Simply because it raises their profile within the party which means they get to keep fundraising, write books, go on TV, and make large speaking fees. A black coach who interviews for a NFL head coach job and reportedly does well, can likely go right out and make millions in college.

She also reported Zeke would be on the team plane to camp.

This is Jerry Jones in a nutshell-

“I’m not actually a competent NFL GM- but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night”

yes, ..why wait and allow other HC opportunies for Garrett to breeze by,..plus that will allow us to proceed with the HC search more quickly ourselves.
