Good passrusher, not so much on run downs.
Would like to see him back.

Best actuation this team has made in forever. Well since Amari anyway! Lol

Having said that I want the new HC to help decide on this kind of stuff.

Most sacks in 5 seasons while missing 4 games, 80 career sacks, and 29 years old when free agency starts. He'll get paid, probably 12 to 15 million a year.

...gotta keep him. Good player with positive attitude. I dont know how many times he just missed the QB running off the edge.

Robert Quinn made near $10M for the 2019 season (with sack incentives included in that number) and finished the year with the following stats:

34 Tackles
11.5 sacks
3 PDef's
2 FF's

He counted on a productive year in order to earn one final big multi-year contract and he will get paid more than Dallas can probably afford given the likes of Prescott, Jones, Cooper, etc. that need re-signing. Personally I say make D. Lawrence give up some of his new contract to pay Quinn as Lawrence fleeced Jerry Jones with his 2019 performance.

As for the idea of releasing Tyrone Crawford, he carries with him a 2020 cap hit of $10.1M with $4.2M in dead money, a savings of $5.9M if traded or released. That money would only take care of probably 50% of what Quinn would be seeking annually. However, throw in the fact that Jason Witten will not be coming back (2019 cap hit of $4.25M) and Dallas should push Sean Lee into retirement so as to coach (2019 cap hit of $6.012M) and you could try and find money to retain him.
However, that still leaves what to do with Dak Prescott (franchise tag of 2020 QB projected to be $26.7M), Amari Cooper (UFA wanting at least $15M+ annually), and Byron Jones (UFA wanting at least $12M+ annually).

It’s going to be pricey guys at 11 1/2 sacks on market. Some team will overpay with a big deal to snag him is my bet.

Retain? Or will he be too expensive?
That's an interesting question, and one I will be anxious to see answered in the off season. He is an outstanding pass rusher with a high motor, and he is a playmaker, but he also is very vulnerable when teams run because of a pass rushing style that can open big running lanes.

Ultimately I would like to see him retained, but price will definitely factor. A lot of other teams will be interested because of his 11.5 sacks in 14 games.

Quinn's sell-out speed rushing style was perfect for a Marinelli RE, but a new DC might install a different system. For me, it depends on which coaches we hire.

Really depends what the money is but he was the best player on the team this season IMO.

He and Cooper were 1 and 2 all year and Cooper just fell off this last month.

Except when teams were gashing the right side of our DL repeatedly with the run. Pretty expensive guy who can rush the passer but struggles against the run.
