I don’t see any comment on this so here is a reality check:

1. Garrett still hasn’t been fired so the decision to fire Garrett probably has not yet been made.
2. Garrett can interview people say “I wasn’t impressed. I’m keeping Garrett”.
3. He may be interviewing McCarthy as OC and Lewis as DC for Garrett.

I’m just sayin’.
Garrett is not being resigned as HC. It’s over.

It gonna be something like we interviewed the candidates and decided we liked what we had in Garrett and are proud to announce his new 6 yr contract.

I think that's why he is trying to exit interviews with players. So that he can get into their ears and to buddy up with them. It's his last-ditch effort to get Jerry to change his mind.
