I would be intrigued by either of Ravens Coordinators. These are established NFL guys, not just a couple of hot shot johnny come latelies.
Harbaugh and Bisciotti have an excellent track record of organizational success. I wouldn't hesitate look to that organization for the next wave of coaches.

The more I read about Greg Roman, the more I feel he is a perfect fit for our offense. His scheme is more run based, which is the Cowboys Strength. Has developed several mobile type QB's with great success, before we state that Dak is no Lamar Jackson nor Kapernick, he did develop Luck, Alex Smith. When this Cowboy Team has been at it's best, it was all about the team's elite, ground attack.

If the Cowboys do go the hot offensive coordinator route, they must bring in a veteran DC and ST Coach.

That sounds good but not really. I'm not going to villainize Garrett for the sins of the Owner. You guys can do that. You've been doing it for 25 years. Anybody's better than this bum coach!

Any and all first time head coaches just grateful for the job will be another doormat for the Owner and absolutely nothing will change. We would just have a new worst coach ever.
No one has been down on Garrett for the last 25 years, only for the last 10, and for good reason.
Listening to one of his lame press conferences, after a much to common lose, to a team we should have beaten, was like finger nails across a chalk board. Garrett almost never took responsibility for his mistakes. He only rationalized them, that’s why he made the same mistakes over and over and over again.

You can join Jerry in his pity party for Garrett. I say good riddance, the Garrett era lasted about 5-6 years to long!!!!!

I wish we could steal Greg Williams from the Jets. That dude punishes teams. He tried to kill Dak. Would love to see someone like him that could turn our Mr Niceguys into ferocious animals.

Greg Williams?

He was a car-wreck with the Bills.

Egomaniac who couldn't do the job as a head coach.

Does anyone think what may be Jerry’s last hire will be some random coordinator with no tie to the organization? He’s making a big splash

Jerry has put his stamp on this team to the degree that accountability and success is almost lost or now gone. If the head coach can't lead and implement control over his assistants and the players, it is leadership by proxy. The team loses focus on the the team concept and begins infighting. The players tend to take on the persona of the alpha character, Jerry. We know where that goes. Garret was emasculated, right or wrong, and so will the next coach's chance of sustained success if Jerry doesn't change his iron grip. I am not saying anything new - just acknowledging the obvious.

Guys do you think there is a chance Roman is a one year wonder? How did Kitchens do?

The next coach must be a proven commodity. Enough with this potential crap.

He made a winner out of Kapernick and he's tearing the league up with Jackson now. That's enough for me. Short of getting Belichik he's as close to a "proven commidity" as you can get.

No look at Romans track record.

He does well every where he goes with QBs that aren’t very good passers like ours.

He is probably the best coach in the league for our Offensive personnel. Him or Shanahan.

You're presuming that any first time HC that is pegged for the job will just be grateful for the opportunity and accept any conditions, but that isn't the case. When you're in demand, like a Roman or a McDaniels will be, you can ask for the same demands as any retread former HC can. Possibly even more, because a retread might agree to anything to get another shot.

I would rather fail trying to find the next great head coach like Sean Payton or Shannahan then hire the next Jack Del Rio in McCarthy and watch them do nothing for the next 10 years.

They need an experienced task master.
