Lol you peeps are so gullible. dude have the same issues you rode Garrett for...lol
for the record, I'm going to support him like I did Jason. but you dudes are funny.

Matt LaFleur will fix McCarthy's game-management woes
Matt LaFluer is hiring a game-management specialist, which is something Mike McCarthy should have done a long time ago.

During his hiatus, McCarthy did some soul searching. Organized a group of coaches to watch tape with and analyze his mistakes. He has also embraced analytics. I know you have probably heard all this by now. My point is, we may very well be getting a different McCarthy than his Packer days. All his past discretions may be moot who knows.

If I’m Washington, Philly, or NY I’m not happy about this.

The end of the JG era, and a new beginning. The more I read about McCarthy the more I get excited. I‘ve always liked him and the toughness he permeates. Finally a real HC again. 10 years of futility and a man gets beat down. This is a new beginning and I haven’t been this excited for football in a long time.

Rejoice.

lol...you brought the hook, that was to get hired with help from Peter King. it's no coincidence the example shown was the Cowboys deep crossing routes...lol

Aven I can’t believe your falling for this buddy.

Examine it Catch and you will too. I wanted a Riley or Urban too. But I researched him. I thought about what he’s done. Remember all the injuries he’s dealt with? One legged Rogers? No RB to speak of? DB’s off the streets?

When I watched his video from Peter King the biggest thing that stuck with me is when King asked Bill about coaching, and he said these young offensive gurus, whom I never heard of really come in, they don’t know anything about running a program from top to bottom. They only know offense or whatever. It’s a task, etc. I’m paraphrasing here, but I can see the man saying this. McCarthy knows how to do this. And call his own plays. Once I heard Sturm talk about him I was sold. Embrace it my friend. It’s not JG.

So Peter King is colluding with coaches in order to get them jobs now? Neat

Listen, I wasn’t excited with the McCarthy hire myself. You can say I’m still not. I wanted Jerry to do more than one interview before making his decision (the Lewis interview was a token interview. Not a real interview), but I am going to let this one ride out and see what he can do. There are some things I like about McCarthy and hell he will be leading my team so ima try to find some more things to like about him.

Also ironic he basically got Garrett his job by beating the brakes off of us in 2010, 45-7. Wade was fired the next day and Garrett promoted.
I'd like this post if I was able to.

It really is quite astonishing how it seems to have come full circle.

Better late than never.

I will say this about McCarthy. After monitoring the Packers forum the fans don’t seem to have allot of bad things to say about him. That gives me hope I guess.

I get that. And had we fired JG after Chicago and had an interim we could have done that. But we didn’t. He interviewed for like three teams. We couldn’t let him go. He wasn’t going to sit around for two more weeks. He’s too experienced.

I’m excited too! This is what I hope changes

Accountability? Did you say accountability?

Funny you say that, because Packer 2nd team All-Pro LT David Bakhtiari was pretty clear about how happy he was that McCarthy was fired so that ACCOUNTABILITY might be restored in Green Bay.

"After seeing lack of ‘accountability,’ David Bakhtiari hopeful Matt LaFleur brings new culture to Packers"

"Bakhtiari liked what he heard from LaFleur — especially when it came to accountability, a lack of which became an issue toward the end of McCarthy’s tenure, Bakhtiari said."

It's gonna be more of the same. The only thing this tells is that Jerry is unwilling to change.
