the defense is in a sorry state of affairs. poor d-line. lb's not the strongest. injury to lve problematic despite words to the contrary. d-backs took a step backwards. it's going to take much improved coaching and the addition of talent to improve this unit. I can see as many as 10 being shown the door.

Yea, Nolan prob doesn’t want him and he’s not someone Jerry cares one way or another about.

Jerry’s more focused on keeping everyone on offense.

Theyll be Mikes scapegoat the first year. Lol
You missed your calling.......you should have been a motivational speaker......................you'd find something negative about any scenario..........including winning the lottery

I’ve never played the Lottery. Lousy frikin odds. Only losers and poor financial planners play the Lotto.

Instead I’d recommend buying and investing in some Life Insurance which is a sure bet. Everyone dies.

Other than Fassel & Tomsula, I haven't heard any other names being reported. I think he's interested in retaining KR but, he may
have other options in the wind. I think MM is going to look for another RB's coach though I don't know who.
I heard Edgar Bennett for the RBC was possible.

It was a top 10 defense loaded with young talent. Enough with this offense to go deep in the playoffs if we had any kind of HC.

Greg, why do you continue to be a fan? Your obsession with everything Booger would have me out the door years ago.

I also think MM likes Haslett and he could come in as the LB's coach if Nolan agrees.
One thing these guys have in common, they're all very serious dudes. Richard would fit that mold as well.

Marinelli is a great guy and a terrific man and the players loved him, just like they did Campo back in his day.

I don't know about anyone else here but I didn't love my HC, I feared his wrath but his praise was beyond motivating because he didn't just hand it out like candy. I knew exactly what was expected of me.

It is different at the NFL level which is why I wanted either Rivera or Big Mike and not one of the college guys.

whole life-----no. term life----meh. variable and universal---no. of course it could be semantics. I look at investing as something that earns me money I can spend now as opposed to having something to give to others when i'm dead. I spend about $20 yearly on lottery tickets. never won anything.

top 10 in stats. 8-8 on the actual field of play. I don't care for stats.

They’re my local team. I haven’t missed a game in Over 55 years now. While I hate every aspect of how Jerry runs Cowboys football operations I still enjoy the 3 hours a week during the game. I still find a connection to some of the players and coaches. I still want the team to win as it’s good for the city and community while there is some satisfaction Jerry struggles with winning it his way.

Its complicated CC. Much like all the years I’ve followed Baylor flat out hate how the University conducts themselves on certain issues and situations. Or how I hate how our countries leaders dictates policies but love our country. Im still here lobbying, marching and fighting for changes I believe in. And intend to plant some seeds along the way while providing hopefully an insight not all have seen or thought of.

I take my football passions very seriously . I’m not as crazed as I once was attending home games for much of 4 decades and traveling with the team on occasion but for 3 hours 16 times a year I’m still dialed in. It’s my nature to keep up with happenings surrounding the team as well. I love what the Cowboys meant to me the first 4 decades of my life. I look at my memorabilia almost every day . And these forum settings provide me an opportunity to vent all my frustrations with Jerry.

Never doubt I want to win. I’m just going to bash Jerry all the way to bank. At every turn and opportunities that arise much like a Dale Hansen or Randy Galloway. It will end someday pending who dies first.

And I’m not the only one who feels as such. He’s the most hated sports personality in Dallas history. They just all aren’t on here bashing Jerry.

That’s what Jerry, Stephen ,many fans , media and analysts were basing their opinions on.

it doesn’t matter what you and I think. Team decisions are based on the Hype built up and how it’s sold creating the perception to the public.

if Nolan doesn't want him, then why is there the much speculation that the Cowboys are interested in bringing Richard back ?
Now it could a matter of what kind of capacity role here Richard would be willing to accept as its assuming to be DB-secondary .. or if Richard is more interested in seeking a bigger, expanded role elsewhere

curious who his oline coach will be.
James Campen?
Colombo?
his oline coach at one time in GB was Joe Philbin...will it be him?

i wouldn't mind Colombo staying on as asst oline coach...i think he could learn alot from a competent, veteran coach.

and if i'm Marc Columbo, I would NOT accept such a lower position and a clear step back just to be as an asst. OL coach, when I have proven my worth and upped my stock as one of
the better OL coaches in the NFL that contributed among the very best in least sacks allowed and brought out the very best in one of our key players (Collins).

And remember how the Dolphins were rumored to want to hire Columbo away from the Cowboys, but Marc wanted to remain the Cowboys primary OL coach.
If Columbo is relieved of his OL duties,.. several teams are gonna be fishing for his immediate services.

I would only say you want more from your OL coach than just coaching technique. In many cases, you count on the OL coach to be able to coordinate the run game and design the blocking and calls versus certain opponents, fronts, stunts. etc.

Columbo saved the 2018 season when Jerry matched the wrong OL coach to our personnel, but listened to Garrett and allowed him to fire the guy. However, the OL and run game has not been what it was under Callahan, who was the run game coordinator.
