Let the HC have the staff he wants.. and let them be loyal to the HC.. and let us all be working on the same plan at the same time. That would be a novel and new approach in Dallas.. but you know.. might be helpful to winning.

I think Garrett gave subordinates too much control and power and it backfired big time. too many cooks spoil the broth..

sure. Let’s trash the best Offense in the NFL .

who needs all those yards and TDS.

How about establishing a winning culture, before the most critical game of the season? The coaching staff, as a whole, was straight trash.
You don't establish a winning culture by allowing lazy bad attitudes get away with bad behavior on the field. You nip it in the bud. Ask Barney Fife how you fix these issues.

Much thanks for linking that. I’m at a lose for words that Garrett allowed that. Now I get he wasn’t playing well as the state, or that Coop was hurt as he and I stated, but either way you as the positional coach go to the HC and he then makes that decision. But then again, that’s why Garrett is gone.
To me even if they are having a bad game, you play your playmakers in those situations period.

Far too many drops. This is seperate from the bad passes that were dropped.
I dont think Lal was anything special, just another hyped up assistant for no reason. But still, a coach cant make the receivers catch the ball.

I thought he did well with the receivers this year

but as ive stated before after last season i dont care what player or coach goes

I thought he must’ve been doing a decent job as Gallup took a big step in development from last year.
However, too many drops across the board.

This new coaching staff is really shaping up to be elite. Actual seasoned pro's who know what they are doing. The kind of coaches that demand respect from the players simply by their presence alone. The days of the crazies running the nut house ARE OVER! Players will be held accountable. And it just keeps getting better, quite a few spots yet to be named. Pretty damned impressive so far IMO.

They started off slow, really slow. Might of had the top offense but they played like the 32nd ranked offense in the first half of games. I don't think we managed to win a game we trailed at half time.

Indeed.

Bless his heart, but Jason Garrett was as worthless in his position as the Hamburglar was to inventory accuracy @ Mickey D's.
The thing Jason is a very bright guy
Getting out from under Jerry’s shadow may actually help him
He should do something similar to what MM did
Take a year off and study others and have an honest evaluation of himself
Jerry gave him every chance but jerry also created part of the problems
Hopefully both learned from this failed project

The coach can help the WRs be more prepared. Same as a coach making the team practice in the rain. Run drills specifically aimed at catching.

True, but how it's hard to know how much of that to attribute to the coach. I did, however, feel the routes and cuts were more precise this year. Some of that might be having Cooper as an example in the #1 role rather than Dez.

clean house, I like it. I hope McCarthy also calls plays and Moore learns under him. There should be no excuses for McCarthy.
