So the opinion of some whiny young buck writer matters why?
He blames Prescott. I mean, yeah he was bad vs. Philly but he's injured his shoulder and hand which clearly affects his throwing. Only an idiot would deny that and paint a picture of him throwing badly all season long. And then turns around and mentions his high stats. Aso suggesting that his incompletions are all his fault, when we have a WR leading the NFL in drops. Prescott isn't elite but blaming him? The redzone example didn't really make his case either. Over half of his TDs are in the red-zone.

If nobody else in the franchise but the guy that cleans the toilets would show absolute loyalty to Jerry, then the toilet guy would be HC tomorrow. And everybody else would be gone. Or soon to be gone. It will just get worse as Jerry moves from "old" into advanced "elderly" territory.

Just proves how the Dak haters have no idea what they are whining/talking about. Embarrassing but I'm sure they don't care that they look foolish with their Dak hatred arguments.

DAK GARRETT JONES ---pretty easy test. Shocked they did a "news" story on this as if everyone didn't already know..well except for
a couple posters I know who believe in mediocrity and blame everything from the weather
to the star alignment - anything but Dak ...

LLLOOOLLL, Someone will dispute this article, can't be him he is 2nd in QB rating! 3, 2 and 1.

After well over 50 years, Jerry finally broke my "giveadam"....it's called desensitization. Yeah it's only entertainment watching the ship sink at this point. :lmao:
This should be the new theme song for this organization LOL.

LOL!! Yes a good theme song indeed. Starting in '96 there have been just too many years of seeing this team not do much. Years like this are expected.

Even before the 90s, Cowboys fans have had many disappointing years, but at least they were good. Come to think of it, I think the Cowboys have to have the most playoff losses as the favorite than any other team. Off the top of my head I can think of 7. Cowboys would have double digit SBs if they won when they were favored in the playoffs.

Any blame list without our defensive coaches needs to be edited.

Forgot Marinelli....he’s responsible for ruining the DL which cost us numerous games that including a playoff game.

But then there's this......

"Statistically, Prescott is having one of his best seasons since entering the league in 2016. His completion percentage is the second-lowest of his career at 64.8 percent, throwing 365 completions on 563 pass attempts for 4,599 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

What those numbers don’t show, however, are the ugly incompletions that he’s throwing to wide-open receivers downfield. Prescott is constantly missing his receivers by throwing it ahead of them or behind them.

For a player who was once expected to become the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, many are beginning to question if Dak Prescott should even be the Cowboys’ franchise quarterback for the future."

Dallas Cowboys: 3 People to blame for recent failures

With the amount of talent on the Dallas Cowboys roster in 2019, there's no way they should look as bad as they have -- but who exactly is to blame? The Dal...

This primarily a whine about Garrett and I thought there wasn't supposed to be anymore Garrett threads in this area?

It doesn't show the drops either. Or the false start and holding penalties. Or anything the team is unsuccessful at? What's your point? That Prescott needs help from his team?
Well no ****!

That whole talking point about how much talent is on this team is nothing but an excuse. For starters, you can have Pro Bowl caliber receivers but they are neutered by a limited QB. As much as Dak improved some things in his game this year, he still can't throw a deep out, a seam pass or a go route worth a damn. He consistently over throws or under throws routes over 20 yards. Defenses know his limitations.

Zeke is probably the most durable back I've seen. But he doesn't break any big runs anymore. Their TE talent is a C.

The Dline was their biggest issue this year. They overestimated their talent there. I saw DLawrence have to take on two TEs and a tackle in one game. And teams just ran at Quinn who's giving up 50 lbs to the LT. The scheme they run is the real difference. Bend and then break it should be called. Just changing the scheme should make a huge difference. But they need D help more than anything.

I stopped when they gave Romo $100 million right after losing his 3rd straight win or go home game. Haven’t spent a single penny on anything Cowboys or NFL since then except for whatever residual money they may get from the various TV providers I have had. Not enough fans will ever do this to make a difference. It’s simply a personal choice that very few of us have made and actually stuck to. The only Cowboys stuff I still own are all the signed Emmitt stuff I collected in the 90’s and once he was inducted into the HOF. I have zero desire to own anything with the star on it until things change and this futile era is over.

cool story. Romo never lost 3 win or go home games in a row. So right off the bat your premise is false.

secondly if you think Romo lost the game at NY in 2011 you might want to rewatch it. That offensive line was bad all year and basically was terrible that night. Throw in they couldn't run and gave up a back breaking play on defense....it was a team effort.....another cool story, nobody beat that same giants team...not Rodgers or Brady.

2012. this was tony romo's worst game of his career. that early interception on the slant to Austin changed the whole feel of the game. Even playing poorly it was a close game till the end.

2013. Again...romo didn't play in that game.

Lol. Exactly. The title alone had a red flag. Look what I dug up on him. He's a Packers fan. And people believe this %$#%. He's as whiny as Wodgers. :lmao:
