Who cares about nicknames when you’re 8-8? Sports history has few if any examples of memorable nicknames from teams who haven’t done anything. Win some playoff games, and the nicknames follow.

I always liked the nature of the name as a big rap fan. But these guys have made it distasteful once it became bigger than winning. Go to the SB then call yourself what you want, niners doing it right

It's the overall individual branding that the players are doing when they aren't winning jack crap.

Everyone would embrace these things if we're winning.

I dont care for it given they havent been to strong of line the last few years ,

however he has a point ,

its copy writ infringement

they created the name , had swag printed, and wore it , promoted etc..

having some other dline change it by one letter and try and YTM it is and issue regardless of the name is stupid..
