Thank you! The 4 in 4 out rotation Marinelli loved so much works in theory but in actuality needs 7-8 high caliber football players to pull off.
What kind of sense does it make to ignore down, distance, and timing of the game just to have 4 “fresh bodies” out there? If the backups are a considerable drop-off from the starters you can’t just go 4 in 4 out, you gotta at least stagger it.
Worked a few years back in Philly when they where 7/8 deep on the d-line, but if the depth ain’t there you can’t just rotate for the sake of it
