Didn't Aikman just get done saying it didn't matter who they hired as coach because that won't change the structure at the top? WTH?

No kidding. Troy slipped into BFF Defense Mode when Garrett was getting so much criticism. Now that that's over and Jason has landed on his feet, Troy has returned to his senses.

Ugh, this makes me less confident in MM now. Aikman sang Garrett's praises too. I remember Hostile trying to pump sunshine on Garrett back in the day and Aikman's comments were a primary focus.

The only other HC I wanted was Rivera and for the same reasons. They've taken teams to the SB and know what that entails, both were fired and have something to prove and both have gotten their players on board and to respond to them.

Part 1 and 2 have happened, hired the HC and let him hire his own staff. Part 3 is the involvement of the coaches in FA and the draft. Part 4, the tricky part, is the non involvement of the Joneses in establishing the culture and accountability.

I am cautiously optimistic.
Better than being guardedly pessimistic.

Change itself, under these circumstances, should make everyone cautiously optimistic.

I am definitely optimistic about one thing, no more Garrett crap. Some won't be able to contain themselves since he went to a division opponent so maybe I need to be cautious about my optimism?

MMc was a good hire, IMHO.

How this all works out, going forward, remains to be seen.

It’s going to be utterly hilarious if Garrett has success in NY and embarrass us.

#4 has undermined everyone. Part of me thinks Jerry will be somewhat smirk if Fat Mikey struggles . Almost like a I told you so. I felt the same way with Bill.

In some ways I think Jerry was relieved Bill didn’t have more success. He was able to go back to his Puppetry. And this time around Moore might be his new Boy.

Remember if Fat Mikey comes in with immediate success finally reaching the SB then Jerry will be proven wrong.
