0-4 without Romo. Can they steal one of the 3 remaining?

0-4 without Romo. Can they steal one of the 3 remaining games with Romo?

Which one?

Seahawks?
Eagles?
Bucs?

I see the winning the Bucs game and when Romo returns they are 3-6.

Anybody see it differently?

At this point in time the Cowboys future lies in the hands of fate. To win the division we would have to count on on others failing, in other words our fate is not in our hands. At this point I would give us a 40% chance of winning the division and a 0% at wild card.:(

Newsflash....
We couldn't beat the Saints and the Giants aren't exactly all world. I could see this season easily ending around 6-10.

Newsflash... Romo is 2-0 and will be back for our last 7 games. Even if we don't win a single game without Romo, we aren't going 6-10... I know it sounds crazy at this moment, but I'm betting we only lose a couple more games this season, three at the most...

Again, the Eagles offense is even worse than ours, and the Bucs have allowed 31 or more points in 4 out of 6 games this season, even the Seattle game looks winnable... So I do think we'll win a couple of these games before Romo gets back... And once Romo gets back, we might go 7-0 to finish the season, but probably more like 6-1...

The worm is about to turn... Dez is back soon, and once Romo is back leading the offense, with the defense playing the way it is, we will be very tough to beat... Dolphins, Panthers, Commanders, Packers, Jets, Bills, Commanders to finish the season; how many of those games should we lose with Romo, Dez, Witten, and this defense? We're not going 6-10... Romo will not be shutdown early, we will be in the fight until the end, and I think Romo, Witten, and Dez have the will to get us into the tournament...

Doubt we win next week. Eagles or Bucks game are possibilities.

Bro, we cant win one freaking game without Romo........................that is a fact carved into granite, so what is going to be different next week or the week after or the week after that?

Just because we haven't doesn't mean we can't. In fact we could have won 3 out of the 4 games so far without Romo.
This is parity in the NFL. Even with Romo we barely won many of those games last year. I see a team that is capable of beating any team we play any week. Doesn't mean we will but doesn't mean we won't either.

I know it's not looking great. But we are 1 game out in this awful division still. We have 4 losses and everyone else has 3 or 4.

Point being the day I start to route against my own team and start to feel the way many people here feel is the day I tell myself I need to find something else to do on Sunday's. The level of quit, negativity, and over reaction shows that many people have crossed over from a source of entertainment to an unhealthy obsession.

It really doesn't matter. This season was over weeks ago and it falls at the feet of the two morons who run our personnel department. To not field a competent back up QB is inexcusable. Especially when your starter is old and breaking down.

Backup QBs are an issue league-wide. The big difference is that you see some of the other teams compensate by holding things together across the roster. Dallas just looks like a team that feels it cannot execute enough to win without Romo. That just means your team, overall, is just not good enough.

They beat the Eagles and Bucs. Go on to win six of next seven win the division, take the NFC and beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl.

The Steelers can win with their 3rd QB on the field. They didn't on Sunday but he won them the game the week before. He is an infinitely better player than any backup we have.

Fielding Brandon Weeden behind Tony Romo can't be excused by a dearth of decent backup QBs in the league. That is just a major misevaluation by the front office that has destroyed this season.

He isn't infinitely better than Cassel.

The next 3 games are all winnable.

If we play as well as we did against the Giants, minus the offensive TO's and ST miscues, we'll probably win all 3.

That's a big if though.

The only silver lining is both the Giants and Eagles are looking at their schedules and wondering where they will end up too but they are who they are.

We aren't close to who we can be, but can we keep our head above water.

I'm not sure.

They can beat the Bucs and Eagles, because both teams are pretty terrible. They can't beat either team playing the way they did yesterday. The Giants are as bad as the Eagles and Bucs, but giving them the football four times, giving up a Special Teams touchdown and not getting a single turnover from your defense is kind of an easy path for other teams to get a win.

This is over. Say hello to 6-10 and with the 10th pick in the 2016 draft.......

I can't believe the number of fans saying the season is over at 2-4, especially in a division where the leader has three losses.

Yes, it's likely with our backup QBs that the most we can expect is to win a game or two before Romo returns, but I do not discount this team being able to go on a run with Romo and be competing for the division title heading into the final weeks.

If our running game can become what it was Sunday and our defense continues to find itself, we are not out of this thing, people! Doesn't mean it will be easy, but it's clearly not impossible, and as a fan, I never give up on my team until it becomes impossible for it to make the playoffs.

Are we fanatics or are we quitters?

I think the Dolphins are about to put a beating on a lot of teams.
I think Carolinas D can stifle many offenses.
I think the Jets are a better football team, even with Rom and Dez playing.
I think we usually drop one to the Skins.
I think playing in Buffalo in Nov/Dec can be tricky.
I think Aaron Rodgers will eat this defense alive, even with Gregory, Hardy , Mcclain playing....

I think this season is over.....

My take....

Seattle game
I look at the Seahawks sideline and see a bunch of angry players, unhappy with their losing record.
I look at the Cowboys sideline and not only see dysfunction, but a bunch of guys waiting around for Tony Romo to save them.
I look at their coaches and see Pete Carroll, winner of a National Championship and a Super Bowl.
I look at our coaches and see a guy who claps, good play or bad play.
ADVANTAGE: Seattle

Eagles game
They are a hard team to figure. I think they will be up for this game. Garrett will talk about something they did as a team during the week that means nothing on the field. It will be close but I don't trust us in close games.
ADVANTAGE: Eagles barely

Buccaneers game
They aren't very good but Winston is going to fling it and against this soft secondary he could have success. The deciding factor will be whether or not Hardy and the D Line can get to him. Once the ball is in the air, they have the advantage. The other issue is if I'm right, this team will have lost 6 straight and will be looking toward the next week when Romo returns. As you can probably tell, I have zero faith in Garrett actually motivating the team. He'll talk about doing it, but nothing will actually come from it.
ADVANTAGE: Bucs, unless Hardy destroys Winston

Garrett continues to offer nothing as a NFL head coach, people continue to make excuses. Tony Romo is our only hope.
