I've always said right or wrong for me stats have to match what you see. If you see good stats but on the field you don't see good play I have to take them stats with a grain of salt. It is the same if the stats are bad but you see the player is playing good on the field. Plainly stated if the stats don't match the on field eye test they can't be trusted period don't matter which way they are being slanted positively or negatively.
