This year's squad of Cowboys will go 11-5, win the NFC East, and will host a playoff game at Texas Stadium.

*12-4 is a possiblility.

Coulda been 12-4 last year with a solid kicker. So I'm gonna agree with you. I haven't been this excited over a season since, well, 2004. Sigh.

Im hoping 16-0 but that might be long shot with the though oponents we have to face. So im going with 14-2, Terrell Owens MVP, and comeback player of the year. Homefield Advantage; Super Bowl Victory against the New England Patroits, Parcells gets head coach of the year award.

There seems to be a lot of pent up excitement around Valley Ranch these days. Just to hear players like Bradie James talk about how the team is stacked with talent, and to know that the team hasn't been this talented on paper at least since the Jimmy Johnson days.

@ Jacksonville (FOX) 3:15 p.m. – Tough game to open with, but I think the Boys go in and pull out a squeaker, 21-17. The Jags really don't have an offensive weapon other than Leftwich. Cowboys 1-0

WASHINGTON (NBC) 7:15 p.m. – Dallas is still pissed off about last year's sweep. Stingy defense and explosive offense make this a rout, 28-10. Cowboys 2-0

Sun 9/24 BYE
@ Tennessee (FOX) Noon – Tennessee's QB situation still isn't fixed and their defense is questionable. Dallas takes this one 24-7. Cowboys 3-0.

@ Philadelphia (FOX) 3:15 p.m. – This is one game T.O. has his eyes set on. But, it will be tougher than most think. Dallas still pulls it out with a 17-10 win. Cowboys 4-0.

HOUSTON (CBS) Noon – Houston's better defensively and offensively. But, there is still too much of a gap. Cowboys offense makes the Texan's defense look silly in a 35-13 blow out. Cowboys 5-0.

NY GIANTS (ESPN) 7:30 p.m. – This will really be the test for the Cowboys to see how they truly are doing. Both defenses will rush the QB really well. In the end, I think the Boys still take this one at home, 13-10. Cowboys 6-0

At this point, we're 6-0 and in the driver's seat of the NFC East. Probably a better start than anyone expected. It's also a great position to be in as we start a 3-game road trip.

@ Carolina (NBC) 7:15 p.m. – Carolina's defense and a fired up Keyshawn will prove to be too much for the Cowboys. But, it will still be a close game against a potential NFC champ. Carolina wins 24-21. Cowboys 6-1

@ Washington (FOX) Noon – The Foreskins will look to exact revenge for their earlier loss, but by this time, Gibbs and Snyder will see their investment, yet again, isn't paying off. By this point, they will have given up on Brunell and handed the reins over to Campbell. Cowboys embarass the Skins, 42-15. Cowboys 7-1.

@ Arizona (FOX) 3:15 p.m. – Same situation here. Warner is benched for Leinart, but the speed of the game is too much for him. Cowboys offer up another spanking, 28-7. Cowboys 8-1.

INDIANAPOLIS (CBS) Noon – Colts will have a harder time this year without Edge than most people think. He kept defense honest. Now, without a proven runner in the backfield, multiple DB defenses will stop the Colts passing game. Cowboys win 28-17. Cowboys 9-1.

TAMPA BAY (FOX) 3:15 p.m. – Tampa doesn't have a whole lot in the tank either. There isn't any part of this team that scares me. They are solid, but not on the same level as Dallas. The Boys win 21-13. Cowboys 10-1.

I know most reading this are really skeptical by now, but there have been a lot of 10-1 teams in the past that no one thought would be there.

@ NY Giants (FOX) Noon – Jints rebound from the earlier loss with a staunch defensive effort. It will be the Cowboys worst offensive day of the season. Cowboys drop this in NY 20-7. Cowboys 10-2

NEW ORLEANS (FOX) Noon – This will be a bad homecoming for SP. New Orleans will be better than last year, but not good enough. The Cowboys should take this pretty easily, 28-10. Cowboys 11-2.

@ Atlanta (NFLN) 7:00 p.m. – The Ron Mexico experiment continues in Hot-lanta. But, the Boys stifling 3-4 contains Vick. Cowboys win 17-10. Cowboys 12-2.

PHILADELPHIA (NBC) 4:00 p.m. – Philly is starting to realize how much T.O. made them better. Their offense is struggling, averaging a measly (sp?) 14 points per game. Dallas offense shreds the Iggle defense at home, 30-13. Cowboys 13-2.

DETROIT (FOX) – With the Cowboys riding high into the playoffs, this game kind of scares me. They know they are in, so will BP sit his starters if homefield advantage is already decided? If this game decides who has homefield advantage, starters play and Detroit loses 28-17. If reserves play entire game, Detroit wins 20-13. Cowboys regular season record in 14-2 if starters finish; 13-3 if reserves finish.

I'm thinking 10-6.

We have a really tough schedule with six of our first nine on the road.

If we can get out of that stretch with a decent record, then I'll feel really good about our chances.

I predicted 9-7 for last year.

This year I see a tough divisional battle. Put me down for 10-6 and winning the East in a tie breaker.

The score is kinda off IMO, but I can see the Skins starting to fall off at this point next season.

To me, the 'Boys record at mid-season will be the barometer. With 6 of the first 9 games on the road, if Dallas can finish that stretch 6-3 and have no major injuries, then 11 - 5 is a virtual lock (Vanderjagt should be good for at least 2 additional wins over last year). Anything better than 6 -3 thru the first 9 then watch out, this team will finish no worse than 12-4 with a division title and home field throughout the playoffs.

11-5, host and win a playoff game.

Also, Bledsoe somehow stays on his feet the entire season, and the whiners will be here because niether Henson or Romo get any playing time. (Really going out on a limb there:rolleyes: )
