I thought some of you might appreciate seeing some final regular season defensive numbers for last year vs. this year.

Is this all due to Wade? How about Ken Hamlin?

Wow....we had 46 sacks.

I haven't seen that many from our team in a long time. We had a ton of "almost sacks" too.

I'm actually impressed with our interception numbers. If you think about it, we started Reeves almost all season. Here's a guy that most of us thought would be cut before the season. Henry missed a ton of games and still had five picks....Newman was hurt all year and still had three (and his usual 3 or 4 dropped TDs)...Hamlin had a career high in picks.

Those penalty stats are our opponents' total penalties -- on their offense, defense and special teams. They don't really have anything to do with our defense (except maybe some of their offensive penalties, however many those were).
