Besides don't we have the same strength and conditioning coach we've had for years, including these last few when we've been virtually injury free? Sorry to the OP but you're way off on this.

In an indirect way it does

Agree
Obviously a bone doesn't break because of fatigue but you get into critical situations more often without proper conditioning due to a lack of concentration or simply slower moves. If your lineman is tired at the end of a game (or in overtime) then you might break your pinky more likely.
Especially in a collision sport like football, being in a good condition will help you a lot to stay healthy. That doesn't say that the best athlete ever cannot hurt himself. The propabilities change and if our team is in bad shape then they might get more injuries.

Enduarnce training requires strength, but it employs a different muscle fibre. Endurance runners have a high concerntration of slow-twitch muscle fibers. It also is beneficial for bone density as well. The point I was making though is that lack of conditioning may force the muscle into awkward positions over a period of time, which could lead to breakage.

Hell, even strength training can increase the potential for injury, depending upon how the muscles are exercised. Many people, while adding strength, train in such a way that they create imbalances.

I did remember reading something similar to that back in Bio2 a few years back. Thanks for the knowledge.

Also with football I've heard that it also relates to if you're tired you are put in more positions to which you can get injured. Combination of the two isnt good.

Doesn't Dallas still have the same strength and conditioning coach that they have had for years? If so, then the answer is no. Some of these injuries are just bad luck like Romo breaking a pinky or Roy breaking his arm.

The team rarely participates in full contact drills especially in camp, but a lot of teams do the same thing. Injuries are just part of the game. Dallas has been fairly lucky the past couple of years and now they have been very unlucky. It happens. The Patriots are going through a lot of injuries this year as well. So are the Steelers. Do people question their off season and training camp methods?

Romo's injury isn't just due to bad luck, it's due to the fact that the lousy OL couldn't keep the Cardinals defensive lineman from slamming him into the turf on the first play of overtime.
