The way I see it, we beat the Chargers which I thought we would lose going in, and lost to the Skins(oh it hurts) which I thought we would win. We can still easily be 3-1 going into Philly, it's just going to take some hard work. We called way too conservative a game thinking they were going to blitz like crazy which they didn't, and Glenn/Roy gave up 2 inexcusable plays. Other than those 2 plays, the defense played basically a perfect game, so i'm tired of sweating it. I'm moving on to the niners beatdown that's coming up.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath....We are one and one with team with a new defense including many rookies. We are doing fine. We can still finish abouve 500 and make progress..... It's one game for.....oh never mind

i realize the sky is falling, i just returned to L.A. from Dallas on what was a historic night, and major major heartbreak. but i agree w/ the poster were not in a bad postion, if we look at it, we just need to finish. our offense didnt take any sacks, and were just gonna get better w/ our young defense learnin from more gametime experience. and rivals always play u tough just look back when the cowboys tarnished the Commanders perfect record, it was the cowboys only win that year. it was a sad sad day but were gonna bounce back and b even better, i share the sadness of losing a nailbiter to our most hated rivals, but in the words of my Father: "Sometimes the ***** slaps back." but we will return the Commanders the favor in Washington we just need to tell Bill if we can do it like ur in college run up the ****in score no ones gonna have mercy on us if they can help it. gotta leave this game behind us, now too our next task in just anhilating the Whiners on their turf and becoming 2-1. JMO

Bottom line is, many people are reacting as though the season is over, and it's not. We will bounce back. I'm not assuming any wins, but I still think we have a chance to be fine. The Eagles lost a game they should have won week 1 too, but nobody is giving up on them. Granted, we're not the Eagles yet, but we do have a damn good coach and a defense that should improve every week moving forward.

I mean, we were 2 terrible plays away from having everyone in the country talking about us as the best defense in the league. We were that good on defense on every play except the 2 TDs.

What amazes me is that last year we were 6-10, before that, 10-6 and many 5-11 before that. We win one game on the road against a good team and all of sudden this team is supposed to win every game?? I am very excited about this team. I think this group of young players is going to be special, GIVEN TIME! I am not even sure the players made the mistakes last night. After looking at the game film, well my recorded version of the game, The defense was in the worst aligement it could have been for the pass play called. They were just out of position tomake that play. Take your hats off to the O C at Washington or to MB if he changed the play after reading the coverage. Either way , it was a fluke win. We had our share of those last couple of years. This team is going to be great. This D is going tobe special. But it won't happen over night. There will be peak and valleys along the way. Just support this team and let the young guys know its ok to make a mistake, just play with your heart and represent the STAR to the best of your ablility. And quit whining,, its just one game.
