2016 Mock Draft (CBS Rankings)

1. Jared Goff-QB-Cal
Lynch is gone to Cleveland at #2. We take the QB of the future here. Only way this doesn't happen is if Bosa falls or San Diego ( or other team via trade) takes him. (Also considered: Joey Bosa-if available, Jalen Ramsey)

2. Jayron Kearse-S-Clemson
Big body, athletic, strong safety who plays the run and is a hard hitter. Immediate upgrade over Church and Wilcox. (Also considered: Tyler Boyd, Kendall Fuller, and Josh Perry)

3. Alex Collins-RB-Arkansas
Hopefully he falls to the 3rd round. He's rated as a 3-4 round prospect so we'll see. Most of you guys on here know about him already. Fits what Dallas does well in the run game. (Also considered: Braxton Miller, William Jackson III, Jalen Mills, Scooby Wright, Karl Joseph)

4. Eric Sriker-OLB-Oklahoma
High football IQ mixed with a high effort personality. Adds depth and speed to the LB corps. Fantastic pure football player that will contribute to this team, even if only on special teams. (Also considered: Bralon Addison and Maurice Canady)

4. Cyrus Jones-CB-Alabama
Drafted mainly for his return skills, which are severely lacking after Harris left. But also adds depth in the defensive backfield. (Also considered: See above)

6. Antwaun Woods-DT-USC
1 Technique guy which we desperately need somebody to step in and be in this defensive scheme.

6. Taveze Calhoun-CB-Mississippi St.
Decent man to man corner who played well in the SEC. Adds depth to the CB corps.

6. Corey Davis-WR-Western Michigan
I'm almost certain that he won't fall this far, but the rankings have him down here. If he does, I think its a steal. Big, athletic receiver who uses his hands well. Same school that produced Greg Jennings.

6. Quayvon Hicks-FB-Georgia
Blocked for Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb. Clutts is a free agent this offseason and I think Hicks is a more athletic FB than he is. If this team wants to continue to be a run first offense, blocking for Romo and whoever the HB is must be looked at.

You missed a TE. I am pretty sure we pick one. :D

I can live with that.

i hope Goff/Lynch are gone before our pick.

I'm almost certain Tennessee goes with Tunsil to protect Mariota. Unless Chip becomes their coach, then who knows what he will do. Anyway, if Tunsil is gone and then both QB's go too, we can get Bosa. Which would be magical. I just don't see it happening.

Kinda hope we don't draft Goff/Lynch and they turn out to be studs but we do trade for Manziel and he continues to be a nightmare just so I could laugh at all the people undervaluing QB and overrating Manziel. It would put us into another 15 years of darkness but it might be worth it.

Goff will go #2 to Cleveland. We all love Alex Collins (which mostly assures it won't happen). I am fan of Jayron Kearse-S-Clemson. Marinelli doesn't go for guys like Antwaun Woods. If you watch his video closely you see guy who should be over-powering people but instead is poor at point of attack.

Thank you for the Corey Davis knowledge! Just checked out a couple of his games and he is a great prospect.....and I agree that he is not lasting that long. I'd be confident going into 2017 with this draft!
