It's a flawed stat either way.
The Giants are 5-5 against the rest of the league. If we had beaten them both times or split, non of those games would count as games against a "winning" team. But because we lost both games, we suddenly went "0-2 against winning teams."
Atlanta is 6-5 against the rest of the league. If we had lost to them, it would count as a loss to a "winning" team. But because we won, it doesn't count as a win against a "winning" team.
None of that makes any sense, and it skews the stat. If you want a more relevant stat, take our games out of the opponents' record to determine whether they're a "winning" team.
But still, it's not particularly meaningful at all. Would you rather have an 8-4 team that loses to losing teams? And if so, why?
