If you can have an #1 & #2 receivers from any other NFL team to be on the this team, who would it be? This is your go to receivers. This is also the receivers that would have a good relationship with Tony Romo. Receivers you think would gel in this offense.

I'm going with Larry Fitzgerald & Reggie Wayne.

I'm confused... Is Reggie Wayne supposed to be a #2 WR?
Right, Larry would be my first and Wayne my second. Although Reggie is a #1 receiver, but if I had to just have 1 at number one then it would be Larry.

I guess the thing I dont get is what is "number 1" receiver? Is it fair to say our number 1 receiver is Witten? When I think of a number 1, I think of someone who comes up big in the clutch. When you need a first down late in a game they get it. So in some ways I think calling a wideout a number 1 is a bit over-rated.

Can't be Witten if it was he wouldn't be blocking when the game is on the line.

Yeah to the OP, this aint 2003. Reggie Wayne is a legit No. 1 receiver.

I'd go Moss and Hines Ward.

The best deep threat in the game, and the toughest WR in the game right now.

*Edit*
Let me change that to Calvin Johnson. Younger, a harder worker, and is probably faster. Will also go over the middle.

The #1 is the go to man. The receiver Romo would normally throw too. The receiver that makes the clutch plays. Just mainly the receiver the quarterback knows he can depend.

Like Peyton & Wayne as of right now.

Can Buehler play WR? If so, Fitz and Buehler. If not, Fitz and Calvin Johnson.

And why they had him blocking is beyond me and Romo still almost got killed.

Andre Johnson (classic field stretching beast)
and
Hines Ward (tough as nails)

Those are 2 of the top 5 receivers in the game. You're insane if you think either is a No. 2.

Calvin Johnson, one of the best WR I've seen in a long time. Too bad he doesnt have a QB.

So is the question who are the two best WRs in the league, in your opinion?

Again, both are number one receivers.

The thread is for a number 1 AND a number 2.

Half of you guys are listing off two No 1's.
