dak Prescott is the number one accurate QB at 73.5% week 10 though 16....

I get it that he’s a work in progress but something has to be said about him improving in accuracy.

He needs to get rid of the ball faster and fix the fumbling but the man is playing closer to 2016 than 2017....

I’m excited to have him leading us into the playoffs...can’t wait to read the hate against him from some.

If Dak could only improve on anticipating throws and getting more passes down field he would be a top 10 qb

Sam Bradford set the nfl record in accuracy last year throwing for 180 yards a game dinking and dunking.

I’m not saying anything. I’m just saying.

Absolutely agree but my point is that dak is definitely improving in an area that he has been suspect and I’m excited to see him get his second crack in the playoffs...I hope he picks up where he left off in the 2016 game

That is a good thread to determine who to put in the ignore list. Thanks.

As for Dak, he is not perfect. He is a QB who needs development but under a real OC and QB coach. I will not give up on him until I see this change in the coaching staff.

A coach can have such a crucial touch on a QB, believe me.

The problem with the 73% is you’re just not leaving out the completions that you’re supposed to. Like on the 9+ YPA in his 400 yard game. Several completions shouldn’t be counted because receivers ran after they caught it.

It’s simple math according to a few of our members here.

I think we need to invest in a much better and more experienced qb coach in the offseason...

It’s especially meaningless this year. If you look at the top 50 all-time seasons for completion percentages:
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_cmp_perc_single_season.htm
We are on pace to have an amazing ten of the top 50 seasons occur this year.
The NFL has changed from QBs creating completions to coaches and schemes creating completions with smart route combinations. If you never take any chances, take sacks instead of throwing the ball away and generally only throw to open guys then you should have a high completion percentage.

lol, people jumping all over Moore after one season when Wade Wilson was incompetent here for years and went pretty much undetected.

I’m not one that’s jumping all over him but I never understood the hire and why we didn’t get a more experienced coach...I do think we need someone more experienced at developing talent though

I couldn't agree more Jipper.

Any quarterback could beat that percentage with the types of short throws Dak makes.
