Looking over the schedule, and trying to be objective and honest about what I've seen so far, I believe that this team has to just keep scrapping and fighting until we get into the middle/late part of our schedule and then go on a little run. It will probably be .500 football before that, and after that, and my hope is that we can pull away just a bit and finish 10-6 and make the playoffs.

Will be interesting to watch.

I think your post speaks to a real possibility. Other than the Packers, there are no super teams in the NFC---we can pull it off.

The Lions are pretenders that will get exposed as the year goes.

BUT our defense is MILES better than I thought and we found a kicker and a 3rd WR. The last piece to the puzzle is the oline: IF they can gel and we can run the ball the sky is the limit: big IF though.

The way this team has played(inspired, unprepared and dumb) anything can happen. We'll win some games we weren't expecting to win and lose games we were supposed to win. I can see us beating NE only to lose to the Rams the week after. I'm thinking 9-7 at best.

The O-line impressed me yesterday. Will they play like that going forward? Who knows? But it gives me hope.
