The offense will be fine
The defense is a work in process and it will be second half of season before we even have the full compliment of players ready to play
What we've learned, the offense will have to carry the team till we get everyone back and the young guys get their feet under them on defense

Care to talk about it? My thoughts are just my thoughts but if something you disagree with maybe from your point of view I would change my mind

Disagree on Kellen Moore. He has a weak arm and throws lobs, but that can be successful even against starters if you put it in the right place, which he did. I'm not saying I wouldn't prefer a stronger-armed backup, but there's no reason to knock Moore on what-ifs since that game can be played both ways. What if Dez had been in the game instead of Brown? Then there's a good possibility that instead of throwing an interception, Moore would have had another TD ... for example.

Also, I don't think Crawford has been up and down in camp. He had been up from everything I've read and heard until he went down with an injury. Could be a big loss since we don't know if Charlton can step up to that level, at least this early in his career.

I said his arm is subpar you said he has a weak arm.......I'm sure that's the exact same thing. And while it could be successful against starters he has proven to throw some interceptions against starters going back to 2 seasons ago when he finished the year as the starter. Sure guys get better no doubt but it's the same thing with him. I never said he couldn't be the backup, I'm just saying his performance doesn't give me confidence. By the way Rush is our only other option as backup and he will have to have a great preseason to beat out Moore.

I say Crawford has been up and down cause he hasn't been consistent in practice. Not sure if you have been to practice but I haven't seen a guy that has beaten our OL consistently. Sure he has made plays but they have came in spurts. Could be a loss no doubt but Taco isn't the only player on the team.

Rico looks like he will develop into at least a quality TE.

The rookies are going to take some time.

Jaylon is still extremely athletic.

Rod Smith deserves a roster spot.

Theaker Skipper Gilchrist and Joe Jones are worth developing.

Dak has improved.

Brice Butler deserves more playing time.

Keith Smith has developed into a dynamic FB.

Al Morris still has something in the tank.

Paea's problem the last couple years has been the 3-4.

Collins can play RT.

Marquez White doesn't like to tackle.

Hitchens has upped his game.

Lotulelei cannot play.

With the suspensions and injuries Jones has a strong chance at the roster.

Frazier has improved.

Jones has developed his ball skills.

Tapper has elite burst off the line.

Bell is a smart player with good awareness.
