not once, and believe me i was looking for it, did we attempt to challenge their deep coverage. inexcusable. and while i have been a defender of Parcells and even Zimmer, I am hereby stating that its time to try something else.
I respect Parcells immensely but either he needs to go, or we must find a new defensive coordinator and playcaller. Payton going to the Saints was a loss, but our season has been dismal regardless. defensively, we need a new motivator and offensively, we need to use the weapons we have. TO is going to waste in this offense, and we can't provide blocking even for a mobile QB who thrives making plays.
I have a lot of beefs with this team, obviously. If I was Jerry Jones, I would personally tell Bill thanks but no thanks, and find a good DEFENSIVE MINDED coach to take over. That being a slap in the face to Zimmer, I would also have to let him go too...
Thank you Bill Parcells for bringing in some good talent and teaching our young team from great experience, but Landry had experience too, and there comes a time to let it go... I think this team is capable of contending for many years. But i think our odds of winning another Trophy are slender, with the coaching staff as it stands. Parcells may get one more year if he decides he really wants to give it one more go, but if he does stay we need some fresher talent for assistants. Call it a slow leak, like a bad tire...
