I gotta say, I don't care if Stallone was a draft dodger, and I don't care if Rambo is "old"... that movie looks like it's gonna kick butt.

Wanted looks pretty cool too.

Don't care for the rest except for Dark Knight.

Edit: Oh yeah, Iron Man looks like it'll be awesome too.

Edit2: Just saw the cloverfield trailer. It also looks like it could be good. :D

I can't put into words how good THE DARK KNIGHT is going to be. Wait 'til you see Ledger -- there's already "Best Supporting Actor" buzz hovering around him for his turn as The Joker.

"Why so SERIOUS?!" ;)

I am pumped about the Ironman trailers and I love the casting of Robert Downy as Tony Stark

I was a huge Iron Man fan.

However I have to say, I might just be the only one so far that was not blown away with those trailers.

I hope it is a great movie but those trailers...sorry they just don't get me too excited about the movie.

I'm not terribly excited about any of those flicks. I am, however, looking forward to the new Indiana Jones movie.

I can definately do without Sex in the City. Horton Hears a Who will definately be rental only and not one I'm excited about. Speed Racer looks interesting, but not great. Prince Caspian better be A LOT better than the first movie as it was quite a drag. The others look pretty good. I'll add Get Smart as a potentially fun movie. 10,000 B.C. looked interesting in the teaser, but looked like utter crap in the latest trailer.

The Incredible Hulk is coming out with a new movie somewhere around the spring of 2008. It's basically a "redo" of the first Hulk movie, with better script writing and a more realistic looking Hulk. I saw a preview of the new hulk on youtube. Edward Norton from Fight Club is going to play Banner this time. I can't wait for that one.

I hope they don't screw up Horton Hears a Who, because it is a great story and should translate well into a movie if done right.

I'm a little nervous about the Jim Carrey angle, but if they keep him under control, it should be a classic.

My wife and I go to probably 7-8 movies a month. And for the past few years there rarely is a great movie. Seems as tho the best movies these days are kids movies. I get bored in I am Legend, but love the watching Happy Feet, The WaterHorse, or Spiderman with the grandkids. The best movie I have seen recently is Gone Baby Gone. Good acting from all involved and a great story line.

If I never see another Tom Cruise movie, I will be eternally gratefull. Movies are just not as good as they were 25 yrs ago. There is a lot more bang and special effects, but to me the acting is not near as good.

The best actors today are Morgan Freeman, NIcolson(sometimes) Jodi Foster, Sean Penn, Will Smith and Tom Hanks but they are not near as good as the old NIcholson, Pacino, Henry Fonda, Gregory Peck, or Jimmy Stewart. Those actors were just revered. Now today we have to put up with the Adam Sandlers, Ben Aflect, and Tom Cruises of the world. That is like comparing the 90s Cowboys to the Bucs of the 70s. Big difference.

I do wish good movies were more prevalent than bad movies but with the emphasis that more is better, the quality for the most part sucks....

That's funny, one of the main reasons I don't like older movies is because to me the acting seems so horrible, so fake. There are plenty of bad ones now, but the older the movies, the worst the acting seems to me, for the most part. Sandler can act when not doing his comedy routine (though comedy takes a lot of talent to be good at), Affleck can be good in the right role and with the right direction. Most of the older actors basically have the same performances in every movie they do anymore. My personal favorite is Jason Lee, though he's really only had 2 movies that really show off what he can do, the best being Chasing Amy.

And I guess I should add Zack and Miri Make a Porno to the top of my movies to see in 2008.

I know some of the old movies were over the top, but as far as acting, none of the current crop of actors can compete with the job of the old guys. The best acting roles I have seen ever imo were Jack Nicolson in ONe Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Jimmy Stewart in Mr Smith goes to Washington, and Al Pacino in Scent of A Woman. I know all of those were incredible movies but their acting has not been touched by the current group. The closest any recent actors have been to those is maybe Russel Crowe in The Gladiator, Mel Gibson in Braveheart, Tom Hanks in a couple of movies.

What I get stuck with more than anything is Dennis Quaid in The Day After Tomorrow, Ben Afflect in Peal Harbor or Armagaddon, George Clooney in whatever he is in. and God SAve the World Tom Cruise in everything but The Firm. No comparison......
