Saw a tweet yesterday that the 30 day visit interview with CGJ did not go well. He and Willis (DT) are probably off the draft board.

I think it's gonna be Ferguson or Thornhill....my gutt tells me DE Jaylon Ferguson...Thornhill gettin' lots of love out there...probably won't make it to us.
at one point...Taylor Rapp was looked at as a 1st Rd prospect...he could be there at 58 but won't surprise me if he's long gone by then.

Who was the tweet from?

CGJ does not seem to have any red flags.

It was Bobby Belt.

"Dallas apparently views Christian Miller as a LB, so it seems unlikely they’d draft him with that position being a lower priority. It doesn’t sound like the interviews for Gerald Willis and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson went well. We’ll strike them as well."

I think Thornhill, Rapp n Abram are gone...CGJ is down the board.

Too rich for a RB in Harris. Deebo is good but that's high for a WR on this team.

Leaving:
1) Joejuan Williams
2) Jaylon Ferguson
3) LJ Collier
4) Greg Little

IMo the safeties will be wiped off by the time we pick at 58,i think they will go Dline here or even trade down.

Contrarian view:
A few crazy trades (orchestrated by the Raiders) in the 1st round, teams panic/reach for QB's, teams load up on the DL talent, & a run on WR's in the early second round.

Johnathan Abram slides as a result.
Dallas scoops him up.

They do white board sessions with players. Some players get ruled out or moved down the draft board if they struggle at the white board.

I don't think they do the same type of white board sessions for DTs (or even S's) than they do for QBs. All our DTs are taught are to penetrate. And our coverage is generally 3-high zone or man. So I honestly don't know what players at those positions can struggle with during the session.

too many teams in front of us need a safety including NFCE teams.

I’d be ok with all except Ferguson, Harris, and Little. I don’t think we need to draft OL or RB that high.

Rapp
Thornhill
Collier
and I still think they would consider Zach Allen.

I was listening to the draft show and Stephen told the 103 host that Interceptions is their top metric for safeties so that would be Thornhill.

Watch him go be a freakin’ PB’er for whichever team picks him.
