In 109 regular season games through history, the Cowboys have won 61 to the Eagles' 49. They lost the first-ever three games of the series before win streaks of 11 and nine Dallas wins. Here's how the matchup looks through the last decade:

One of the most important points of this game and an area where the eagles are really poor was left off. Third downs. The eagles are in the bottom 3 in converting 3rd downs.

could be a huge advantage for Dallas if it continues. If they can't convert then they can't keep the ball and if that defense is out there a long time this running game will kill them.

Keep their run in check and force Philly into 3rds and 6 or more...........

They will have to prove they can run. I hope they can not.

I think the biggest test will be tackling. I think there are going to be a ton of one on one tackling opportunities because they throw the ball quick and play with 3 wide like we do. So the ball will be out quick and there will be lots of space if there are missed tackles.

Similar to me as playing the giants but they are not as talented.

When we get them in third down though the crowd is going to be great and I hope it leads to some penalties, another thing they are terrible with and some turnovers.

Would love to see Zeke put 200 on them the way Emmitt did one time ( 237 to be exact in 1993)
I remember watching that game. Aikman struggled all day, I think he had less than 100 yds passing, and Emmitt carried the team to the win. Cowboys were up 16-10 late in the 4th qtr, and Emmitt popped off a 62 yard TD run, in the rain, at Vets, to wrap up the W. I still have a newspaper clipping from that game (damn how old am I??).

If Zeke can have a day even close to that, the Cowboys will win easy.

What was especially good was that Emmitt did this in Philly, so their douchebag fans were forced to witness it firsthand.
