Pretty sure that back turned to the play, arms up in desperation isn't a good position

LBer has always been a tween position b/w the old flex defense and going to the 3-4 under Parcells.

So glad we are back to 4-3 and we can find guys to fit roles instead of inventing roles to fit players like they had to do with Ware and Ratcliff and Spencer and so many others that just never were a good fit.

I think Lee is going to be the surprise for us all.

I'm hoping like heck he plays a full season.

Thanks for refreshing my memory on that. You're certainly correct, although it was decades ago. Hopefully, we'll be able to maintain a good supply of LBs for a good while to come. Lee finally got his knee fixed after roughing it out ever since his college days with that same faulty knee. I'm hoping it'll settle his problems once and for all. It'd be terrific if he was able to play the remainder of his career in good health. Here's hoping putting him on the weakside will serve him well in that regard.

We lost carter and Durant from last year. Don't think we replaced them with better players. Sean Lee and Ro can't be trusted. That leaves hitchens as the only legit starter. The LB corp was deeper going in to last season. Then Lee got hurt. If that happens again dallas won't have the same depth behind him.

They also lost Holloman last offseason.

We've got some youngsters that bear potential but it'll take time for their development. I think Nzeoche and Wilson should fall into that category and do well in due time. The veteran Brinkley will fill in far more admirably than many of the Cowboys fans expect, I believe.

You can say whether the play was or wasn't a penalty. That is debatable. But to claim it good coverage? That's a stretch.

It appears our LB's are loaded. Our DE's are loaded our DB's need a little something.
But we are looking pretty good.

Well the RB position could use a little upgrade too

Good pickup for the Cowboys. I think the Cowboys are just as good with him as they are McClain.
