Despite the final score, the Cowboys were not really competitive on Sunday.

The Dallas Cowboys disappointed the home crowd for the second week in a row after another dismal performance. They were bad on both sides of the ball and the Baltimore Ravens took control early en route to a 28-25 win that wasn’t as close as the score indicates. The Cowboys will need to look long and hard to figure out what plagues them as it’s been a while since we’ve seen them string together two straight terrible games of football. Here are 10 thoughts on the Cowboys lackluster performance on Sunday.

1. Overheightened confidence
2. Defense picked up right where they left off
3. Run-stopping struggles continue
4. Can’t tackle to save their life
5. Missed opportunity
6. Missed opportunity, part II
7. Why were things so hard?
8. Trying to do too much
9. Last gasp
10. There’s no place like home

200 rushing and the passing could have been added almost at will. Run screens and pounding.

Then two field goals the first half. For Dallas, Thursday could be interesting. Meaning, for now nothing directional for the Cowboys.

I guess show up and tie your shoes.

Alright take the Giants and start chanting here 49's.

I think the coaching is largely to blame when the team can make such a comeback in the 4th quarter. If the play calling had only been nearly as bold throughout the entire game as it was in the 4th quarter, a win might have been in the cards. Nevertheless, we move on to the Giants. Maybe that's a cause for positive encouragement, in and of itself. Let's hope the entire staff and players have sufficient time to overcome their faulty efforts. Amen.

Yeah they might have been playing some prevent but they were not expecting us to get possession on an onsides kick and score.

That change things a little bit and all of a sudden they had to get serious.
Unfortunately we needed to get a little more serious earlier in the game.

Why can't our coaches see the talent in Hunter???

He is our best RB on this roster.

If we lose Thursday and theres a slim chance we do. Many here better start accepting facts.
Time to wake up and smell the coffee to all you fans out there who think this team is good.
They are garbage starting with #4 and #11

Where the heck was 11, whiffing at missed tackles all day long

If Micah keeps up the pace of his current stats we will be lucky to trade him for a 3rd round pick.

This game was like a Dak playoffs second half…. Too little, too late.

Never seen a QB who comes out so cold in the first half and then cranks it up in 4th quarter like that.

Someone give dude and the offense that same sense of urgency all game.

1. The run defensive game is absolutely putrid and is in an emergency state
2. Lamb played his worst NFL career game
3. Cooks and Ferguson got absolutely no separation, and Cooks doesn't seem to at any point, at least Ferg is coming of an injury.
4. The o-line did not do a great job blocking, starting to look like we whiffed again in the first round (very early I get it)
5. Turpin to me looks like the 2nd best receiver, if you ask me the most important thing, is to separate and he does that better then anyone not named Lamb
6. Mazi should not be on the field.
7. Diggs is not a good run defender at all
8. Dak missed quite a few throws being the highest paid player in the league.
9. Micah is a bit of a liability in the run game as well
10. Hey our punter and kicker duo is amazing.
11. Idgaf about the score we got destroyed. Ref's helped make it look way closer then it actually was.

You would think a GM with 35 years of experience would know this.
He would if he were truly accountable for his actions and sadly he is not. Fans will gripe and moan, but they always do, fans vote with their wallets and as long as Jerry still has that support there is no need to change how he conducts business. Jerry is the only GM in professional sports that is not measured by actual success on the field.
