Hard to imagine a player "focused on the wrong things" when the coaches are literally all around him every day for weeks during training camp and preseason.

This seems more like someone's freelancing the comments or words they heard through their own translation process.

For example, the comments Schottenheimer made in the press conference earlier was that Sam Howell has done a great job of learning and understanding the playbook.

I could see someone reading into that as "Milton was released so that must mean he didn't, so he focused on the wrong things" rather than it being an accurate statement of what happened.

Schottenheimer seemed very adament about wanting Milton back even saying they would love to have him back, so I think most of these so-called fault-based reasons are just copium or attention seeking media at this point.

Just because Jerruh made Al Davis trades for Phenom Trance and Backflip Bazooka Joe, does not mean they have any trade value. Both times Jerruh was competing against himself, when he has extensions of extending Dak again.

Yeah I don’t watch these guys. Howell is a gamer who doesn’t get enough credit. What a silly take.

To be a quarterback (whether starter or backup)in the NFL, it requires leadership above all other capabilities. Joe has the physical talents for the job but falls short on being a leader. I don’t think his fun-loving approach endeared him very much to the brass.
