105.3 the fan, clean slate for Pickens?

I did not listen to any of it. As far as the thread question, it is totally up to George Pickens to clean his slate through his own actions and words.
Or the thought of a boat load of money not coming his way, i'd keep my mouth shut if I were him (Cue coog joke in 3,2,1!)

He’s been fined over a quarter of a million dollars in only three years for unprofessional behavior. Apparently money is not a motivator to Mr. Pickens.

True. I honestly think this is a better environment for him. He likes attention. We get that, so he fits here.

I didn't either. But if I had to bet, Pickens is at his best behavior this season. He's going to price himself out of Dallas. Even a malcontent knows how to act in a contract year.

I just wish the Cowboys would sign him now. Because if this draft pans out, I think we can contend next year. But if Pickens walks after a great season, it kind of messes things up.

No joke. Instead, consider this fact:

There was a boatload of money coming his way after the Steelers selected him in the second round. His level of play would have been equal to or possibly better than how he actually performed IF he had done so minus the nonsense.

Pickens is a certified deep threat. His receiving per catch average is ridiculous. Despite that, Pittsburgh's passing offense has not been ranked higher than 25th in the league since he was drafted. Most of that blame cannot be placed at his feet. I am certain Pittsburgh's front office understood that as well and would have given him his bag if not for his nonsense.

So, the 'if I were him' perspective may or may not work for him eventually. That possibility has always been true for him. Now he is in Big D. Will he do whatever it takes to get the most compensation imaginable at some point? Or will he keep doing what he has always done up to now?

Stay tuned.

He’ll be disgusted with Dak before the mid point in the season. Temper tantrum incoming.
