I have laughed at many a Yankee that has melted in Texas's summers but I'd hate to live where it's really cold.

Our summers are bad enough but they don't even touch a South Texas summer.

Here in the flatlands of KS the Weather Channel said 0 at 5:00 AM.

Just checked at noon and we are up to 11.

16 degrees in Nacogdoches Texas this morning.

I'm actually in Houston right now.

Heard the city pretty much shuts down if a little snow or ice comes around. True?

Yeah because they don't know how to drive in it.

I've driven in blizzards in Chicago, but I won't drive down here. Folks can't drive when the roads are clear. Snow and ice brings out the cuckoos.

That's exactly the problem. Living in Nebraska and then New York, I can drive in snow. It's just all the idiots in Richmond that don't know how to that scare me.
