The NFL has been king on TV for a very long time which is why there is no incentive for them to clean up their officiating mess. In the final analysis no amount of mistakes and screw jobs causes any less eyes to watch the games.

Yeah no need for goodell to take pride in the NFL or its officiating. He gets 10’s of millions of dollars either way. People can tune in and see which team will get the final screw job by the refs.

These owners could get someone to do goodells job for 3 million a year and use the rest of his pay to hire full time officials.
