Let's say they resign Dowdle, Lewis, Tank and Kendricks to 1 year deals and they grab a veteran 1-tech and 3-tech in FA, plus sign WR Diggs to a prove it deal.
Draft position is 13...
1. G Tyler Booker (6'5, 330) Alabama
Severely underrated, he is a first round grade for me out of only 15 in this draft. People will catch up as draft season rolls on.

2. 3-Tech Omarr Norman-Lott (6'3, 315) Tennessee
A larger bodied DT that can get up field, Leads all power 4 DT's in pass rush win rate at 18.8%.

Trade- Browns move up from their second 3rd round pick spot and give the Cowboys a high 4th and 6th round picks.

3. LB Smael Mondon Jr. (6'3, 220) Georgia
With Overshowns injury, a Will LB is needed. He is undersized at the position but can really fly to the ball. Same mold as DMO.

4T. RB Tahj Brooks (5'10, 230) Texas Tech
His compact build really packs a punch. Has great contact balance, more of a slashing one cut runner. Will work best in a committee.

5. CB Justin Walley (5'11, 190) Minnesota
Will probably move to slot in the NFL, has significant experience on special teams and should contribute in sub packages until they move on from Lewis.

5C. S Jonas Sanker (6'1, 210) Virginia
Can play both Safety spots, but is probably better at SS. Rangy and doesn't take bad angles. One of the best tacklers in this draft class regardless of position.

5C. RB Lan Larison (6'0, 215) UC Davis
One of my favorite players, Best 3rd down back in the class, he has over 1400yds rushing and 850yds receiving, 23 total TD's. He could even play slot if need be.

5C. DE Ahmed Hassanein (6'3, 270) Boise State
Good all around edge setter. Over the past 2 seasons he has racked up 21 Sacks. Doesn't win with elite bend or burst but gets the job done.

6T. LB Demetrius Knight Jr. (6'2, 245) South Carolina
Sheds blocks with ease, fast enough for his size. A true Mike LB. Better fit at Mike than Liufau, who projects best as a Sam LB and Special Teamer.

6. 1-Tech Cam Jackson (6'6, 350) Florida
Needs to get stronger, struggles with Double Teams. Has a great motor for a big man, good first step and surprise pass rush ability.

6C. T Ozzy Trapilo (6'8, 310) Boston College
Has great length and surprising versatility, can play multiple position on the line. Needs to work on his strength, add 15 pounds of good weight.

7. TE Moliki Matavao (6'6, 265) UCLA
Good blocking TE, Somehow he led UCLA in Receiving yards this year.

UDFA
QB Seth Henigan (6'3, 220) Memphis, RB Antario Brown (5'10, 220) NIU, WR Coleman Owen (5'11, 190) Ohio, WR Darius Cooper (6'0, 190) Tarleton State,
TE Anthony Torres (6'6, 250) Toledo, OT Zion Nelson (6'5, 315) Miami, OG Ben Dooley (6'5, 320) Boise State, C D'Angalo Titialii (6'2, 320) Washington,

Edge Brian Ugwu (6'3, 250) Miami of Ohio, DE Van Fillinger (6'4, 265) Utah, 3-tech Vernon Broughton (6'4, 305) Texas, 1-tech Anthony Booker Jr. (6'4, 350) SMU,
LB DJ Woodbury Sr. (6'2, 235) Temple, LB Nick Jackson (6'0, 235) Iowa, CB Jordan Oladokun (6'0, 190) Bowling Green, S Kitan Crawford (5'11, 205) Nevada,
P Alex Mastromanno Florida State

or

1. LB/Edge Jalon Walker (6'2, 245) Georgia
Can take over for Overshown. Has everything you want in a LB or an Edge defender. Just a game wrecker, in every sense of the word.

2. S Xavier Watts (6'0, 205) Notre Dame
Ball hawk, super rangy safety that can cover the whole field from a single high look. Would start over Hooker right away.

Trade- Browns move up from their second 3rd round pick spot and give the Cowboys a high 4th and 6th round picks.

3. RB Devin Neal (5'10, 210) Kansas
All around work horse type back. Can do anything and everything well.

4T. CB/S Jordan Hancock (6'1, 185) Ohio State
Would work best as a slot corner, needs to get better at being a physical tackler, but his coverage skills are elite.

5. 3-tech C.J. West (6'2, 315) Indiana
Transfer from Kent State, always seems to be around the ball, no quit in this kid. Production needs to increase, but he has the tools.

5C. G Ar'Maj Reed-Adams (6'5, 330) Texas A&M
Has all the run blocking power you could ask for, needs to work on his footwork in pass protection. A work in progress, but moldable.

5C. DE Xavier Carlton (6'6, 275) California
Has great length. Has 9 sacks this year but he lucked his way into a few of them. Good explosiveness, pass rush moves need improvement. Good run defender.

5C. LB Cody Lindenberg (6'3, 240) Minnesota
Dude just knows how to play linebacker. He is a very cerebral player, never missteps. Learn from Kendricks for a year before taking the D over.

6T. Edge Oluwafemi Oladejo (6'3, 250) UCLA
Dynamic pass rusher, speed and bend are there. Lacks controlled attack. If he can learn how to break down a Tackle with multiple moves, he could really take off.

6. 1-tech Joe Evans (6'3, 335) UTSA
Can't move this guy, he eats up double teams. Not much in the way of pass rush but he does his job and frees up the linebackers.

6C. T J.C. Davis (6'5, 315) Illinois
Is a very good pass blocker, he is an adequate run blocker, he needs to find out how to sustain the run blocks longer. Can play multiple positions.

7. CB Terrence Spence (6'2, 195) JMU
Good length and ball skills, might be a better zone player than man to man. Underrated special teams player, could be a steal. Has six career blocked kicks.

UDFA
QB Conner Bazelak (6'3, 225) Bowling Green, RB Dean Connors (6'0, 205) Rice, RB Peny Boone (6'1, 240) UCF, WR Efton Chism lll (5'11, 200) E. Washington,
WR Isaiah Neyor (6'3, 220) Nebraska, WR Jackson Meeks (6'2, 210) Syracuse, TE Jackson Hawes (6'5, 260) Georgia Tech, TE Jalin Conyers (6'4, 265) TTU,
C Nofoafia Tulafono (6'2, 325) Wyoming, T Max Iheanachor (6'5, 315) Arizona State, G DJ Wingfield (6'4, 315) P Tommy Doman Florida.

Edge JJ Weaver (6'5, 255) Kentucky, DE Jasheen Davis (6'3, 270) Wake, 3-tech J.R. Singleton (6'2, 305) Iowa State, 1-tech Elijah Simmons (6'2, 340) Tennessee,
LB Jayden McDonald (6'0, 235) UConn, LB Matt Jones (6'4, 246) Baylor, LB Carson Bruener (6'2, 225) Washington, CB Donte Kent (5'11, 195) C. Michigan,
CB A'Marion McCoy (6'0, 180) Boise State, S JJ Roberts (5'11, 185) Marshall, S Tate Hallock (6'4, 210), S De'Rickey Wright (6'4, 225) Vanderbilt

I mean Dowdle will be cheap so he'll be signed. Other than that, LOL. Who the hell knows.

I think I tend to lean towards the first mock but I am not sure about an OG with the first. I do like Watts in the 2nd mock but honestly, we have so many other issues above S right now (note, I am not saying safety is fine), I think I'd rather see those first few picks go to guys at DT/DE/LB/RB.

Which is fine, I agree with your positions of need. All the mocks lately have been very similar. I am just adding a couple names to the melting pot.

I don't like to be surprised. Running scenarios is just something I do.

Couldn't they sign the Kansas City guard and draft Jeanty instead of the Tech running back? Or they could just go with Hoffman at guard.

They could sign Bolton or Greenlaw but they won't be cheap. Greenlaw might be a little cheaper, coming off his injury.

A good FA G isn't going to come cheap, every team needs O-line so the price will be great. However, they will have to spend in FA this year, upwards of 80m in cap space to work with. There's nothing stopping them from doing any of these things.

The only problem with Hoffman, he is on his last year before having to pay him. If he becomes the starter you are looking at a big pay day, where as a draft pick will be cheap for 4 or 5 years.

This might be the most convoluted off-season in a while. So many different routes they could take. It will be interesting to see what they go with.
